"You have to wonder about the principal here and his logic - not only in censoring student newspaper stories because they're not positive enough, but also in getting rid of a nationally known, award-winning journalism teacher. Someone like that doesn't have the best interest of the students at heart and probably shouldn't be running a school."

"Class of 2017. You'll find some fantastic teachers here, McCall, Rowe, Patterson, Maxey, Logan. The theatre department is proud and known for doing well, team building is great though the band program but they will try to take your entire summer & all of your time. Regardless, heaven forbid you are a special case. Prosper is very well known for covering up lawsuits and problems and ignoring potential ones. In journalism with Kennedy, he allowed the male students to take off articles of clothing and leave the school randomly, hours at a time and from other classes to complete "projects". Kennedy has since been fired for public indecency, but when I attended and I let the APs know my discomfort, their response was "he's just one of the boys". Man, were they right. Especially when he was found in one, zooweemama. I do have fond memories of the amazing teachers at this school and the police offers do everything the school lets them. The school is very strict, the counselors will lead you wrong, lie to you and ignore you. If a teacher repeatedly has allegations of sexual abuse or making students uncomfortable it will take as long as possible to have that teacher evaluated or removed, and it will be as quiet as possible too. The school will silence your negative or otherwise not happy ideas, but the good teachers will listen, offer solutions and care. Mr. Rodney McCall is the dad I never had and he's the Advanced Placement teacher for US Government. Bad outweighs the good, but the good is so good."

"Have had my kids in the school district for 7yrs the prosper High School is a joke. New Principal is a joke, the teacher don't hold them self accountable. Admin is rude and they have no idea how to run a school."

"Prosper is a wonderful family oriented place to live and the school is tremendous. Award winning band program, football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, golf teams. We love the school and the teachers and Dr. Burdett are fabulous."
