"I have supported this store for over 15 years... I grew up going to thrift shops, not by choice, but a way of life. You always found good deals, for nice things.. that is up until a few years ago. It's pretty sad to say that this store, and those who run it, have come to only care about the dollar sign. Price tags resemble those of big box stores, sometimes at cost, double or more, and it's point blank, second hand, free to them, full profit. Someone is on Google checking prices, making sure to get their money's worth. They are partaking in taking advantage of society, a society that is experiencing price hikes for food, gas, clothing, rent etc. The people making donations to Salvation Army should know and understand, it's no longer about helping the people, but just helping to put money into a cooperation that has clearly become greedy. Where is all the money going ..? Pay your employees well, you clearly have the means to do so, with full profit, free stock, and not just that, but actually give back to society MORE, like you claim. Provide proof also, if you are "giving" back, where is the proof..? What foundations do you give to and support ..? I hope more people ask more questions, and open their eyes to see where their once hard earned money went to, thinking it's going to those in need...but is it really ?? Lower your prices, and be humble for your free goods. What a shame.."
"We were by today and the store is kind of a mess. I've been to plenty of SAs and this was one of the worst. The real problem we had though was with a purse my 9 year old wanted. She picked it out, it was priced for 6$ but it had a white tag which was 75% off. We bring it up to the register and the clerk tells us she won't sell it to us. She didn't say why until I asked and said the tag had been tampered with. She said they didn't put purse tags wherever the tag was. So, instead of the possibility that an employee tagged it in the wrong spot, she alludes to us tampering with a tag to save 4.50. I'm guessing she saw that it was marked down and didn't want to sell it for 1.50. It's funny to see these thrift store employees get all worked up about making a couple bucks on a donated item. So, lady at the SA on Saturday March 4th, be proud of yourself. You made a 9 year old cry today. I won't be back."
"This has quickly become my favorite thrift store in the area. The workers are very kind and provide excellent service. I’ve found some great staples in my closet from here. Would highly recommend!"
"Awesome buy today! I was looking for a cheap sound bar for my outdoor tv. They had one for $39.99 which was reasonably priced. I had just decided to take it and an employee brought another one out. This was only $9.99. Granted it was a Best Buy brand, it fit the bill for what I needed. Now I can overcome the neighbors lawn equipment while I'm trying to football outside."
"I like the improvements in the past couple years at the store. Looks more spacious. I've shopped here for books, shoes, furniture, housewares, and clothing that has lasted for more than 8 years. It's exciting knowing what treasures you'll find."
