Reviews
"I never actually played, but I don't hold disk golf in the same disdain I have for regular golf. It's part of a lovely trail through the park and the experience of walking Goose Lake is always enjoyable. As Mark Twain said, "Golf is a good walk spoiled.""
"Very fun but very hard and it ate my good frisbee... Throw straight"
"Parking is a little tricky to find. Google maps took me through an apartment complex with permit parking only. The course itself isn't too bad, there are some long holes (425 and 500+ feet), obstacles (including a Porto potty), and woods (the last few holes) where you might find or lose a disc. The grass is maintained even though the course itself is definitely worn. The numbers are a bit confusing, hole #2 and #6 share the same launching pad and aren't well marked, but there are a couple maps of the course on hole #1 and #9 (nine is the better map because it includes the layout of each hole which I'm including in the photos). If you're tired of your regular course, looking for a challenge and/or looking for a course off the beaten path, this one is for you. It's also not far from Springfield Disc Course if you want to do two courses in one day."
"The tees were hard to find and you have to be incredibly accurate otherwise you'll spend a lot of time searching for your disc in the brush. Overall I had fun, but other than the grass in the fairway being mowed it is easy to tell that this course has not been attended to much."
"Half of the information signs are gone, which makes finding the next hole a puzzle, and you're guessing at the par. A shame because it is a pretty area."
