"Nice peaceful place to view the Mississippi river, especially at night."
"The area looks nice with all the updates and new concrete instead of the cobblestone road. But the marina was a bad design, and not having gas sucks for people who pay to keep their boats down there. They have to lug can after can of gas to fill their boats up every time they want to use their boats. It was a lot nicer when we had the old marina and had gas."
"The riverfront area has changed a lot and where Nipper Park was is now the marina and where the marina was is now land area with picnic tables, benches along nicely landscaped wide sidewalks. It is a good area to walk and watch the activity on the river. Not sure it is called Nipper Park any longer due to this change. I just call it the riverfront. There is no fountain any longer."
"Located directly on the riverfront, Nippers Park has about a mile of handicap-accessible sidewalks and 25 benches with memorial plaques that overlook the river. Sculptures are installed including Liberte and a bronze sculpture of Mark Twain as a riverboat pilot. The 8-acre park has new sidewalks, fencing, lighting, restrooms, handicap accessibility, new stormwater utilities, a large green space for events, and a rock wall along the river. There is free parking."
"Love a nice river front and this is all new and shaping up nice you can see the lighthouse.. lovers leap plus you are right down down in this beautiful town"
