Reviews of The Pet Barracks
"This place is great. They are organized, clean and the dogs are well supervised. Walter really enjoyed it."
"* UPDATED* I was very excited after our first encounter & trial day visit. I thought that this was going to be a great place for my babies! I explained that my belgian malinois has separation anxiety and known to be an escape artist. All they said was they would put a sign on the gate and let the staff know. After today, I'm not so sure. The( assistant) manager was very rude and short when dropping our dogs off for boarding stating that if our dogs tried to escape that they no longer would be welcome. Of course I understand that if our dogs were deatructive that would happen. However, there is a way to say these things without sounding rude and should have been mentioned before our initial visit. I will be updating this review once we pick up our dogs. Hopefully with good news. As promised, I am updating my review! After I created this review, the actual manager called me personally, on her day off, to find out what happened. This really set my mind at ease that our babies will be taken care of! I recieved multiple phone calls about Pepper. She had injured her nose, as she's done before due to her anxiety. They cleaned her up and asked if I'd like to keep her indoors verses out in the run during the day until it was play time. (She does 1:1 play time also due to her anxiety.) I also recieved a "report card" with pictures and letting me know how they were doing. Loved this! Will definitely be bringing our babies back for future vacations!"
"AwEsOmE. I have a shy five month old dog. She even bit a stray dog from down the street. I did not want to leave her home alone. Thought after calling three or four daycare centers. I was getting the feeling that my dog would not fit in anywhere. I was totally nervous. Then I called the Pet Barracks. I took my dog and since day one I have felt comfortable. Not only was I afraid she would not be accepted. I was worried that she would not like her time there. Everyone I have met has been killer. Offering services. Today a woman named Astrid talked with me. She told me she would introduce my dog to other dogs. She mentioned that she would take videos. This made me feel hella good. Because I knew Marybell had already been accepted. I just did not know if she liked it there. I returned for my dog and sure enough there were videos. They were also made available on my phone. The whole group spent time making my dog have a good day. She was running around. Which hella made me have an awesome day. Now I know even if Marybell can not get that much attention every time. I feel solid that the team and the trainers know how to control dogs that other daycares might turn away. I feel confident in the pet barracks. Because I feel that they take the dogs in to consideration. As well as the owners. I understand that accidents happen. Still it seems like this team is willing to put in the effort. To make a safe fun environment for animals when they are away from home. + 1"
"Can’t say enough about PB!! We had never left our pups with anyone before PB. They took our pups in and took great care of them for a week. We were a little nervous since we have an English and a Frenchie but they knew exactly how to care for these slugs who don’t need much. Signed them up for a painting session and Halloween pictures and everything turned out great. Saw them almost daily playing with other pups on PB Snapchat which was neat. Great friendly staff. Would recommend to other pet owners."
"Awesome place. They took good care of our dog, and I love the fact that they gave him a bath before we picked him up. Definitely recommend. They also post your pet on their social media page and give you a picture of them of their first day there."
