"I enjoyed working here at first it was my first call center job. I was very excited to be at coop and it was a decent step up from the job I had before.I have a baby that is soon to be here so financially preparing for her arrival was my top priority. I thought I was doing very well here and I had the 2nd highest calls per hour in my team and was working to get better scores and providing the best experience I could give to each individual. One day after emailing my supervisor about an error on my schedule I wasn’t giving a direct answer and was told to wait until we had a 1x1 that was 6 hours later 30 minutes before I clock out. I come in the meeting and I am told that my morning shift was supposed to end a month ago. I don’t understand why they didn’t notify me sooner and let me continue to show up to the morning shifts. At the end of our meeting she shows me 2 calls where I put the client on hold for an extended period of time . I was never given any coaching or warning on this. She said well let you know later this week if you’re going to be fired or not. So I leave the meeting not saying anything about how I feel how can I there’s nothing I can say I was told they’d get back to me if I was going to have a job or not. Having my baby due in 2 months my ambitions and drive is very strong I was not going to let my family be without. I came back after my meeting and asked to know if I was being fired or not. Maybe is not ok I need to know if I was with or without a job.i was told it would only be a first and final no warning no communication I almost got fired so I went home and did what anyone who is smart would do I looked for new jobs. The next week at work I was on a call and the caller wouldn't let me close. Nicole called me over and said you were on they call for a long time that could be seen as call avoidance threatening my job security and my ability to take care of my baby. she then told me she would be my new supervisor and that I would sit right in front of her where she could see my every move sound like high school too you? Im not a fond of being micromanaging at all. I have had a manger role at a water park as a teenager and I would make communication a priority with all of my 34 employees in a in a huge water park. That being said there is a lack of communication in this office from management to staff and for us to be sitting no further than 20 feet apart is quite disappointing. Work culture and environment are fundamental to building a strong company. i do believe there is a lot of growth potential in management that could help retain employees (that are the foundation of any company) and cultivate a stronger work culture. I do thank coop for giving me a chance with no experience in call centers I was able to get a job in less than 3 days with better pay."
"DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT WORK HERE. THEY DO NOT VALUE THE VALUES THEU HAVE PLACED FOR THE JOB. THE ARE ALSO NOT A PLACE FOR PARENTS WITH SMALL CHILDREN. ITS MAINLY FOR YOUNGER ADULTS OR OLDER ADULTS. THEY DONT GIVE YOU SICK TIME AND THEY TELL YOU THAT IF YOU GET SICK YOU CAN BRING A DOCTORS NOTE. COMPLETE LIE, THEY ARE GONNA TELL YOU A BUNCH OF BULL TO HIRE YOU BUT DONT MEAN A WORD THEY SAY. THEY TERMINATED ME ON MY DAY OFF WITH A YOUNG SICK CHILD WITH PNEUMONIA. DIDNT EVEN THE COMMON DECENCY TO HAVE AN ADULT CONVERSATION ONE ONE WHILE I WAS AT WORK THEY WAITED TILL I WAS OFF TO CALL. THEY HAVE SEVERAL HYENAS AT THE JOB YOU NEED TO WATCH OUT FOR BUT THE MAIN ONES ARE ALEX PINEDA AND SYLVIA. THEYRE BOTH OLD AND HEARTLESS AND GET OFF ON FIRING FOLKS. THEY HAVE LITERALLY FIRED PEOPLE THAT WERE LITERALLY ON THEIR DEATH BED. DO NOT APPLY HERE. ITS ALL A LIE. THEY ARE TERRIBLE PEOPLE AND VERY HEARTLESS. PAY IS GREAT BUT MANAGEMENT SUCKS BIG TIME. TO ALSO ADD THEY TOLD THEIR EMPLOYEES THAT IF THEY CALL OFF WORK TOMORROW 01/15/24(WINTER ADVISORY) THEY ARE GOING TO GIVE THEM TWO OCCURRENCES. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE WELLBEING OF THEIR EMPLOYEES JUST THE MONEY. THEY WANT THEIR EMPLOYEES TO RISK THEIR LIFE IN THIS WINTER STORMY WEATHER TO WORK FOR THEM. DO NOT APPLY OR WORK HERE EVER. YOUR LIFE OR CHILDREN'S LIFE DOES NOT MATTER EVEN A SMALL AMOUNT."
"I’m going to be honest, we did a lot of shady stuff here and at multiple locations, from coercion, to discrimination, and it’s not right and I regret participating in that. This place needs to be shut down immediately. I will do everything in my powers to see to it. All those affected by this will be given justice."
"IF YOU LIKE BEING TALKED OVER, TREATED LIKE TRASH, TALK TO YOU LIKE YOUR A KID, WHERE THEY TREAT THE HISPANICS LIKE ROYALTY, WHERE THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING PLEASE APPLY HERE FOR A JOB. IF YOU DO WORK HERE TRY EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO AVOID BEING ON SYLVIA’S TEAM. IF YOU CHALLENGE HER AND SHE DON’TLIKE U SHE WILL DO EVERYTHING IN HER POWER TO GET YOU OUT OF THERE."
