"So far-so good, I did a late night run for some pancake mix, the Jewel staff directed me to the aisle-made it a quick and easy visit for me. In and out...go there if you need some pancake stuff...The next morning I enjoyed my pancakes and coffee...yummy..."
"I had used this pharmacy years ago. Having to use them again, I now remember why I didn't stay. The older male pharmacist is beyond rude and makes it clear he doesn't want to be bothered by taking an extra step to help. I will be switching pharmacies, becasue of him, after this month. It's a shame nothing has been done about his attitude after all of these years."
"Horrible experience; so glad there is a walgreens down the street. Will be switching all meds to them. Just no compassion or understanding anymore. Its just always about the money and what will work for them, nevermind that the patient has questions and concerns."
"SORRY for the long rant. I have been using this pharmacy for almost 29 years. Yesterday was the icing on the cake. The pharmacist on duty was EXTREMELY rude, rude beyond belief. We were in the outdoor drive through to pick up our Rx. There was nobody at the inside checkout. After pressing the button we wait. Finally, we see a customer come to the inside checkout and Virginia goes to greet that customer and take care of her. Meanwhile, she whizzes by and says, "someone will be with you shortly." Finally, the pharmacist comes to the window and with an expression that says "don't bother me" my husband proceeds to tell her our last name, both our first names, etc. She looks at us and says, "you know that one if these prescriptions is expensive?" I tell her yes and tell her how much I've been paying. She proceeds to tell me it's $100 more than that. I tell her we have a coupon card from the manufacturer on it. Meanwhile, her whole body language and verbal attitude is very condescending. She says it's expired. So I go on website to download a new one (literally takes less than one minute) she tells us to get out of line and come back when I have it. I told her no, I've already waited long enough for someone to take care of me now and it's coming through my email right now. She turns and tells us it takes 24 hours for these to go through (which has not been the case for us historically). So hubby pulls out. It had come through my email but I called the manufacturer hot line to check to see if we did have to wait 24 hours (perhaps a new regulation). The manufacturer assured me it was already active but gave me a whole new ID # , etc. and told me to have pharmacist try again. Got back in line, now there's two cars. Finally get to our turn. Give pharmacist my phone with screen showing new ID card and she just looks at it. Finally, takes it as though it was poison and tells us I already put this through it is denied. I tell her that no, this is a new one and Novo Nordisk (the manufacturer) says it is active immediately. She very slowly punches some numbers in and then says it's denied again. If it wasn't my insulin that I desperately needed, I would have waited till another pharmacist was on duty. So, after that she had several rude comments and told us that she would take care of every other customer first before she takes care of us. Very confused as to why the manufacturers coupon card would not work as it has always in the past, I questioned if the manager pharmacist Melody would be in soon as she never has a problem with these things in the computer system. She rudely says, she's off on leave. Ok. So we go home, mind you this has already been 45 minutes. I get home and decide to call Novo Nordisk to see if any prescriptions were tried to be put through on that card, Emily (lady on phone) tells me, "yes, it went through at 4:20." Now I'm upset because it had gone through but that pharmacist didn't want to service us so she said it was denied. I called pharmacy right back and got Virginia on phone (whom I've never had any issues with, always been very courteous). However, this time Virginia was also rude on phone and tells me that they'll have to fill the prescription, I'm like I was just there and it was filled. She says well we had to put it back. We could hear her talking in background to pharmacist and then she says, "oh, it just went through." Hmmm, 30+ minutes later?! She only said that after I told her that I spoke with manufacturer and they told me it went through. So. I send hubby back to get Rx. Get it and again pharmacist was taking customers in line (there were 4 ahead of hubby) and as soon as he got to counter she walked away. Finally, Virginia came to ring up hubby. He asked for the pharmacists name and she yelled, "No, that's private information." I'm going to contact corporate and any and all that need to know how these people treat their customers. As of today, Osco drug in Oak Forest will NEVER fill another of my family's prescriptions. EVER!!!"
"This pharmacy is horrible. I call and repeatedly just get disconnected before I can even speak to someone. Then, when I do get through they put me on hold for extended periods of time only to find out they have mistakenly transferred me to another department of the store. Multiple times this has happened, then I finally get transferred back to the pharmacy and they tell me that I have to hold AGAIN because now there are multiple calls before me. The first time this happened it took me 30 minutes to get through to the pharmacist, Summer. When I explained what happened she was extremely rude and unapologetic. Terrible service and no respect for their customers."
