"It's a beautiful course with a great layout!"
"Love this course. Technical wood course with a variety of required shot shaping. If you want to get good at avoiding trees, I highly recommend this course. We used this as a warm up round to start our day and finished our night here playing another 3 rounds in the dark. This was a fun course to play at night with glow discs. We played in the middle of March when the trees were bare so I can’t speak to how easy or hard it is to lose a disc but we had no trouble finding our discs during the day or night. This course was also not busy at 7 in the morning (Friday) with one group of two in the morning and we saw no one at night (in 40 degree weather). The layout is decent with hole 1 starting off by the parking lot but around the corner of the woods near the park’s sign. Hole 18 ends a little bit of a ways away with a walk that leads you on to hole 4’s fairway which is not ideal when busier. The tee pads are concrete and In good shape with simplistic signs that identify the hole and show two pin placements with distance. They give a basic line to the basket albeit straight, left of right. The signs themselves are ok. Some have been written on, vandalized or have sticker residue. Hole 7’s sign was completely gone, Hole 8 written all over and hole 3’s sign was laying on the ground. I do not recall additional signs directing us to the next tee but they were hardly needed. The well traversed paths were good indicators on where to go next and we did not get lost; this of course could be different when the trees are full of foliage and you can’t see the sign post by the next tee pad. The fairways are generally flat with some holes having small elevations. There are some fairways that have small gullies. In the early morning, the ground was still frozen but as it thawed during our morning round we could tell the mud could get slippery. There was also a water collection area between hole one and hole two that could use pallets or some sort of makeshift bridge to go over the mud and protect the ground from the constant traffic. Despite the mud and the gullies, the course was cart friendly. The wooded fairways were gorgeous and a must see and throw, especially hole 17 with the narrow tunnel between rows of pine trees. Most fairways distances were under 300 feet with one at a whopping (in comparison) and fun 475 foot range with a dog leg right. This is not a grip it and rip it course and requires perfect execution of almost every shot otherwise trees could destroy your round. A good course for all levels of experience but be patient if you are new to disc golf; this course takes practice. The course was clean considering there were not a lot of garbage cans but enough. Being early March, I couldn’t tell what efforts are done to manicure the grassy areas in summer months but they seemed well maintained. This course is a 3.5 hours from my home but I would return here if I am ever in the area again. I’d easily drive 30-40 minutes out of my way on a monthly basis to play this course for a minimum of 2 rounds at a pop. It took 2 hours for 6 of us to play a round for the first time which includes getting a visual of the basket. At night, it took 3 of us 90 minutes a round but this included lighting up the basket and slightly more disc searching. Wish I could do half stars. 4.5 for the signs being damaged and not upkept but I know it gets expensive because of others inconsiderate, disrespectful and child like behavior."
"Very challenging 18 hole course, primarily due to the course being heavily wooded. Distances are on the medium to short side, but trees increase the degree of difficulty. Course begins on the right side where you enter the parking lot, and is relatively easy to follow by the paths between pins. Good course for windy days due to woods protection."
"Challenging and fun as always. Great challenge for any level player. Lots of options for flight paths on many holes. Great technical course. I thoroughly enjoy playing this course."
"Lots of fun. What it lacks in distance it more than makes up in challenge and accuracy. Find your lane and you'll par and birdie often, miss it and you're in for a challenge. The biggest problem with ICC is all the photographers who use the fairways as backdrops. Every other weekend I have to ask them to step aside or we have to skip the hole since they are often unwilling to move or let us play thru. I've been told "this is open to the public" by photographers, not sure why they feel they belong there as much as the golfers. But overall a very fun course to play."
