One certain question was about my sex drive, which I felt he was more concerned with me not having sex than I am. He never seemed interested in what I had to say."

"Dr Adelman kept me on bi-polar medication when I wasn’t bi-polar. He then PUSHED Trintellix because the rep was there every week. I told him how it made me feel, he would change my dose. I told him my anxiety was debilitating, he said it was because I chose to adopt another child. I’m on 3 less medications than he had me on and I finally feel like me."

"I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Adelman Every time i have a appointment with him he listens to my concerns and has helped me immensely with the right medication and great advice on things i need to change in my life to help me with my mental health last but not least he also referred me to a amazing counselor that ended up being the most helpful counselor i have ever had just whenever i thought therapy didn't help me at all but it turns out i just didn't know the right counselor for me. His secretary Angela is just as great! I have a terrible memory and would of missed so many very important appointments if it wasn't for her reminding me a day before. She also is very quick at filling prescriptions that i need to take daily and if the pharmacy doesn't have your medication in stock she is quick to transfer your prescription to a pharmacy that does have your medication in stock. If your looking for a new phycatrist i highly recommend Dr. Adelman!"

"I truly appreciate Dr. Adelman and Angela. They have been a blessing to my mother and myself. We lost my dad in 2019 and my mom had to transition her whole way of life after 50+ years of marriage. It would have been difficult for any person but it was especially difficult for my mother who suffers depression. I worried constantly about how we would manage the transition out of her home and into a community. I think we were both numbed by our loss and my dad had been her care provider so I wasn't sure at all that she would be ok. My dad had always spoken well of Dr. Adelman so I was determined that she would continue under his supervision and that was the best choice we have made. Angela is thoughtful and talks to my mom about my father and how fond she was of him. She's able to remove the sadness and have my mom laughing about funny memories they shared. Dr. Adelman shows patience and kindness in every session and is able to comfort my mom. He has managed her medication well and has helped her to become part of her community despite her fears and concerns. I'm just super grateful that they sincerely care about my mom and that she feels comforted by that care."

Most doctors I've seen in the past--and there have been several--take themselves too seriously. Dr Adelman takes his patients seriously without being clinical.
