"I love visiting my CVS at Bartlett Plaza in Bartlett and I think if you ever visit the team that is working for you there, you will be greeted by people who know you, take extremely good care of you, get your orders right, and always do it with a smile. I know in this post-Covid world everything is crazy and we all are aware our medicine is so very important, and I do know if you are looking for some of the best in the country stop into CVS the Bartlett Plaza Store. They will find what your looking for and will be smiling as you leave because that is how the team works to make your visit a pleasant and safe one,"

"This pharmacy was basically bogus to me. I brought in a valid, handwritten script by a legitamite psychiatrist, on a Friday evening for a medicine that was supposed to replace a long-term anti-anxiety med that I couldn't safetly just discontinue without either/first tapering off (via the new script). The pharmacist refused to fill it until speaking with my doctor first to make sure "it was safe with my other medication" (WHICH I WAS NO LONGER ON, HAD NONE LEFT OF, HADN'T FILLED IN A MONTH, AND THAT THE NEW MED WAS REPLACING) even though NOT filling it put me at risk of having a seizure due to withdrawal because of the high dosage involved of the other medication, that I was taking daily, up until the day before I brought in the new script to start my taper (off of it). TALK ABOUT DO NO HARM FIRST! So I ended up having to go to a 24 hour pharmacy until I found one that would fill it once they understood the situation and apologized on behalf of CVS's neglegence. It was not cool. I have NEVER had a bad experience with CVS (in Streamwood) and I go there to get ALL my medicines but the pharmacist at the CVS in Bartlett put my wellbeing in jeopardy. Thank God there was a 24 Hour Walgreens available or I very well may have had a seizure due to the Bartlett CVS's incompetence or fear of "losing their license" by overmedicating me which is ridiculous, because I'm quite sure the first principle of medicine is do no harm, so if someone is an acute seizure risk, you fill their script to prevent the seizure from detox rather before you deny the script for being too much.. especially when you see they no longer r prescribed high-potency anti-anxiety meds that theyve been on for over 9 months daily. I am just saying. I will never, ever go back to Bartlett CVS, if I have a choice. I felt judged, and on top of everything else, they took my name and D.O.B. by phone and checked to see if they had that med that I needed in stock before I drove out there, and then made me wait FORTY MINUTES, before telling me they weren't going to fill it. Very unprofessional. I am just grateful there was another pharmacy available that was open after 9pm. Thank Heaven, because I would have been in dire straights if Iistened to CVS who told me to leave the script there until Tuesday when they should be able to contact the doctor to confirm everything for me. Leave it from Friday until Tuesday afternoon!? After taking maximum dose of my previous anxiety meds 2x/day everyday for months, just go cold turkey for FIVE DAYS??? YA, THAT SOUNDS MEDICALLY SAFE & ADVISABLE! (SEIZURE-GUARANTEED!!!) This whole rant was just a warning for anyone else on anxiety meds routinely; this is the lesson, do NOT go off them cold turkey for ANY reason, EVEN IF a pharmacist advises you too, because you can a)have a seizure or b)die. They're serious stuff. It is just not worth it. Play it safe.. Taper off gradually. [END OF RANT]"
