Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Dallas

"COVID has changed my life in several ways, but I've been able to count on Arthur Murray to remain a constant and help me navigate this new normal while feeling confident that the staff is doing everything in their power to keep everyone safe. Each person's temperature is checked upon arrival, they keep the amount of people in the studio at one time at a minimum, everyone wears a mask, hands are washed and surfaces wiped down between lessons and there is always hand sanitizer available. The short time that the studio closed was hard. I've been an Arthur Murray student since 2012 and each time in the studio has been something to look forward to every week. As soon as they opened their doors up again, I couldn't wait to get back. Certain measures may have changed, but I understand it's for everyone's safety and it hasn't changed the essence of being in the studio. I lost my job at the beginning of the pandemic, but being back in the studio allows me to still have something to look forward to and goals to meet. Dance is an escape and gives me something that I can be proud of and I'm very fortunate that I'm able to have that especially in a time like this."

"I started with Arthur Murray Dallas studios back in 2002. They have certainly changed my life and have kept me going in these unusual times we live in today. I started taking in person lessons as soon as they would let me come back into the studio. They are very conscious of keeping both students and teachers safe. We wear masks, wash our hands between lessons, and get temperature checks. I will say that I don't think I could have coped with all that has been thrown my way these past couple months without their positive light."

"I started taking dance lessons in early 2020, and that has gotten me through this otherwise hideous year. The instructors are great at getting to know you and connect with you, and that gives them a better ability to guide us through learning the dances. It’s not about memorising steps and counting. They help you look your best on the dance floor. When I leave, I have the same feeling of euphoria I get after a run. When Arthur Murray reopened cautiously to ensure the safety of their clients and instructors, returning to dance lessons has been psyche saving! I have 99 problems but the tango ain’t one of them."

"Everyone at this location is very friendly and ready to get you tapping your toes! The instructor I worked with was Laura who is absolutely amazing, and has the attitude and grace of Lioness. Whether you're just getting into dance or just want to learn more about it, I highly recommend this location. I signed up for this class with my uncle so we could share a beautiful dance at my wedding, and although he's the quiet type, Laura is making a great dance leader out of him already!"

"We got a Groupon to try out a couple classes and practice for dancing at our wedding. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. Marcel sent great instructions via email with appointment reminders and what to prepare for. Denise was our instructor and she was easy to talk to and learn the moves from. We were going to get a package anyways, but they are very pushy about getting you to buy a package before you leave. And the packages are rather pricey, but I believe it'll be worth it in the end."
