Dinoroarus
About the Business
Dinoroarus is an engaging attraction located at Government Drive in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. This institution features 14 different groupings of animatronic and stationary dinosaurs, showcasing colorful and prehistoric creatures that move realistically. Guests of all ages can learn about fossils, theories of mass extinction, and ways to support wildlife today.
Tickets to Dinoroarus are not available in advance or online, so visitors can experience dinosaurs and other ancient species representing a vast span of geological time. The attraction includes a massive area with digging opportunities, a Dino Dig, a magnetic Dino Wall, and other educational activities.
Each animal at Dinoroarus has a story to tell about their similarities with animals living during the time of dinosaurs. Guests can also see other Zoo animals such as guinea fowl and a North American river otter. Learning about dinosaurs at Dinoroarus is like a 'CSI' investigation, using old evidence to understand their movements and threats to their habitats.
Emerson Dinoroarus is a seasonal exhibit that will continue at the Zoo while they develop a new, permanent family and children's area. Visitors can share their excitement for the exhibit on social media using #StlZooDinos and follow the Zoo's accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Reviews
"As much as I love our St. Louis Zoo, I would be doing the rest of the attractions there a disservice if I gave "Dinoroarus" a 5-star stellar review. Don't get me wrong, the dinosaurs themselves are well done; unlike most animatronics you see that are old, arthritic, and have sounds that don't sync with their movements, these actually move and make sounds in interesting ways. But the whole spectacle just doesn't fit in stylistically with the rest of the Zoo at all. There are about 10-12 moving dinosaurs to see (some of which shoot water from their mouths periodically) and a small play area with a few slides for the kids."
