Jungle of the Apes is an indoor habitat for apes located at 1 Government Drive in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Here, groups of western lowland gorillas, chimpanzees, and Sumatran orangutans live in environments that mimic their natural habitats. Additionally, some apes may be seen outdoors in the Fragile Forest area when the weather is warm and comfortable. "This is a really cool indoor habitat for gorillas, chimpanzees, and orangutans. It's fun to see the swinging around in a jungle-like setting, and the kids usually find this spot particularly entertaining. As of the time of this writing, the facility is closed, but check back because it's a fun building to visit when it is open. A treasure of this zoo."
