Reviews
"Extremely rude staff, course is decent but for Glencoe, IL where property taxes are through the roof nothing special. We brought a group of 16 for a scramble and staff wouldn’t let us do an extra playoff hole (or 2) at 6PM to finish off a tournament. Won’t be going back there anytime soon."
"We were in the area and stopped by the driving range. Very nice that there is real grass (vs turf) but you can't use woods/drivers. There was an adversarial gentleman enforcing the "no woods" rule even if one can't hit far enough to go past the range, which I politely explained to him. If he would have been professional, I wouldn't leave a negative review but I don't want to be mansplained by a condescending person. It may be worth going if you want to solely practice irons but I'm sure there are other options in the vicinity with pleasant people."
"Glencoe is in great shape. It poured rain the night before we played and the course drained very well. Greens roll very true. If you love trees you'll love this course. If you manage to stay out of the trees you will still have to deal with water and sand. It is a challenging course but fair. If you hit the ball relatively straight you will be fine. If you hit it into the trees I would suggest getting back to the fairway as quickly as you can and don't go for the hero shot. Enjoy."
"Enjoyable public golf course. Navigating through some woods, it backs up to the Chicago Botanical Gardens. Tips are only 6600 but pure greens make birdies challenging."
