"They are the worst, go literally anywhere else."
"I see people complaining about the Granite City Walmart Pharmacy and I can't understand why? One person was angry the Pharmacist went on break but that's the law the Pharmacist on duty has to take a lunch break every day and it is clearly posted at 1:30 and doesn't change......sorry you had to wait, you must have arrived right as they went to lunch? I have found the staff very helpful and have been getting all of my immunizations there for years."
"Called 2 days in row to check prescription status. Both times was told I could pick up a particular prescription , since it was few days early insurance would not cover said script. Was told could pay out of pocket in which I said thats fine. Got to pharmacy and was told cant get it until so and so day. Wasted time and a trip. This is why I called twice to CHECK and 2 Times was confirmed I could get and pay out of pocket. Very frustrating. Lack of communication and I even asked are you positive both times. Smh 1 star"
"I hate granite city Walmart this whole place is unprofessional and uncoordinated. I spoke to two people about trying to get some vapor bath soap for babies cause there wasn’t anymore on the self and I waited for 20 mins and as I’m walking out I see one of them strolling around on her phone and the other was sitting down by subway this place is a joke. I see why someone started a fire."
"I’m never dealing with the Walmart pharmacy again. I was looking forward to switching from sublingual to intramuscular injections. Getting it sent to Walmart was a cheaper alternative costing $25 less than going to Walgreens. Walmart didn’t have the medication in stock as I’m sure a lot of people don’t inject themselves voluntarily unless you’re a druggy lol I called them the first time and they said they could call and have it arrive with other shipments. It never arrived so they called it in again (after I called and asked.) and once again didn’t arrive. I had enough sublingual estrogen to last me long enough for them to get the shipment and I just took my last one Saturday morning and shouldn’t have to sit here without medication. I can’t skip anymore dosages and deal with my hormone levels going all over the place. I called them for a third time and they STILL don’t have my medication. I have to skip almost 2 days worth now. With Walgreens I’ve never had a problem with them getting new shipments in. It seems I’ll be sticking to Walgreens and sticking to the sublingual route for now. I still have to wait until Monday afternoon because my doctor is away. (edit: I went 5 days with hormones and when they finally got my medication they weren’t able to give it to me because the name on it wasn’t my legal name yet they gave me my other medication that has my non-legal name on it. Needless to say my doctor and I are very pissed off and irritated at the whole situation because planned parenthood has said it shouldn’t be a problem. I had her send my prescription to Walgreens and I got it that day with no problems.)"
