"BB's is a classic blues club, with a really terrific setup. However it seems to be lacking on the organization and promotion front. We went to see a band that we knew from Memphis... And it was practically like they didn't exist and they weren't coming online. They weren't even listed on the website.. social media.. anything. So because the band had posted about it, we came, and when I walked in I asked the very friendly bartender about how the set was going to run. Because there was multiple artists that evening is what we understood. They had no idea about the programming at all...that was fascinating to us. Also, the kitchen was closed. So no food. We had a good time after all and the music was great of course. But you couldn't help but feel like things were running a little haphazardly. It has all the bones to be a really great institution representing the best of the St Louis blues scene. But it just feels like a lot is lacking and it could use stronger management."

"Im sooo disappointed. This venue is just too small and ghetto. The kitchen didnt open up until 9:30pm and the event started at 8pm. I had to order Imo's like a few other people. Then to top it off a waiter spilled a drink on me and my hair. I don't even like the smell or taste of liquor. Don't come here with any expectations or you will be dissatisfied."

"Great atmosphere, Went for the Jazz but got vulgar rap as opener. Music got much better after that. Food quality and menu needs a lot of work. I imagine they will address these deficiencies. Overall enjoyed our evening and will be back."

"In town for business and decided wanted live band music and food. Saw BB’s on Instagram and was immediately drawn in by there southern collard greens and red beans and rice. The place had a great atmosphere. Dim lighting inside and out, great portraits of jazz memorabilia all over and even have a second level balcony with an amazing view of the Arch. The Band exceeded my expectations. Great use of the instruments and improvisations. The set list was a assortment of new and classic Neo soul collection. Definitely recommend inviting family or a significant other. The Staff and the food was friendly and attentive. The food was great. Southern cuisine at your Cousins place kind of vibe."
