"For the past four years, my children have been receiving excellent care at Hinsdale Pediatrics. However, the new receptionist is unfortunately lacking in customer service and does not show any compassion towards the patients. While the doctors are amazing, the front desk staff does not reflect the same level of service. On March 5th, 2024, the service provided by the front desk at this location had worsened. I called to schedule an appointment for my sick child, but the receptionist told me to call after 4 pm and leave a message. She said they would call me back the next day. I explained that my child was ill and asked why it was challenging to schedule an appointment with a pediatrician. However, the receptionist, who identified herself as the manager, was unhelpful and suggested I visit an immediate care location nearby."

"If I could’ve left the entry with no stars, I would’ve done so. Never in my life have I experienced such unprofessionalism amongst a group of people that you’re suppose to be not only comfortable with as they’re handling your most precious additions, but VULNERABLE. I won’t go into detail regarding my exact experience as it’s triggering, but stay away for the sake of you & your children. I’ll never understand why people choose pediatrics as a profession & lack patience, passion, empathy & most of all, honesty. I will not be returning."

"The front desk receptionist that I talked to over the phone was VERY rude. He refused to schedule a vaccine appointment for my child, asked me to schedule on mychart myself. Then I asked if I can schedule an appointment for a wellness check, he pulled up my child’s info and refused to help because the age is not met for next check up yet. Then he just hang up the phone without any goodbye. That was the worst customer experience I’ve experienced. Very rude, unprofessional. I could not believe this practice would hire someone like him as a customer receptionist. I would give negative star just based on what happened to me."

"Most unprofessional billing department I've ever had to deal with. We've been taking our kids to Hinsdale Peds for many years and each year at the beginning of the new calendar year they confirmed and make sure our insurance did not change. Last year my wife made sure to advise them that our insurance had changed and we even gave them our new insurance card so that they can update their system. Their inability to follow through and do what they needed to do on their end caused a can of worms when they later found out that they did not accept our new insurance. Now they want us to pay for their mistakes and not accept responsibility for their own lack of accountability. We refuse to pat for their mistakes so they shamefully sent our case to collections. Hold your employees accountable and don't make the customer pay for their mistakes. We've tried countless times to speak with management and explain how this was not our error so we should not be held accountable, but in the end no one wants to accept responsibility."
