"I have to agree with the other reviewers. I’ve been a Schwab client for over 20 years . I was looking to open a few new accounts.I walked in without an appointment just to ask a few questions. I would have been ok if the gentleman said sorry but an appointment is required due to covid restrictions or any other reason but instead I was treated like I was a homeless bum looking for a handout . He stated I should do my business on line . I stated that I had a few questions that would be better answered with a short face to face meeting . He was very rude and basically advised me to leave . I will be taking my business to another brokerage firm. Schwab is a good company and they should be concerned about who they have greeting their clients. I had a check for $500,000 ready to deposit ."
