"Google fee based vs commission based financial advisors before considering this firm. We met with Michael in search of retirement planning and he talked us into an exorbitant amount of whole life insurance as an investment. Turns out they took a huge commission off us and didn’t even advise us to do anything else with our money. Recently met with a REAL financial advisor who is fee based, and he told us we were borderline scammed with the advice we were given. We just surrendered the policies they sold us to stop wasting money on the high premiums and flushed $150k down the toilet in what we’ve already paid. Only fee based advisors have a fiduciary obligation to their clients. Obviously Diamond and Michael take full advantage of this."
