We had acquired their services for our 2022 taxes... it is now 10.6.2023, we had finished and handed over all paperwork on July 6, 2023 and they confirmed our books were complete and they would prepare and send in our return. Fast forward to several calls, emails, and finally me having to express my frustration with the LACK of communication for them to have someone jump on the phone, not know anything about my account, wouldn't let me speak to someone that knew anything about my account, to tell me I owed money (after I sent them $1250) and we still had paperwork to give them before they could process the return. Unless the Buxie team shapes up, I believe this is a new trend based on other reviews from this year. And its truly sad because we were referred by a trusted friend of the owner of this company."

"Beyond disappointed with this office. I reached out to them because they were recommended by Dave Ramsey but have since lost this endorsement. I had them do my taxes for 2022 and it was a train wreck from the start. They sent me an out dated PDF with entry information and barely communicated with me throughout the process. They made several mistakes filling out my return and charged me to fix them. In addition they could not file my return electronically and said it had to be mailed in. It turns out they made another mistake and put the wrong SSN in for one of my dependents. Now I am fighting with the IRS to get this resolved. All in all they charged me $685 for poor and inadequate work. I would stay far away from this place."

"We worked with Melissa at first. At our first meeting, it’s basically self-introduction. At the second meeting, basically any question we asked, the answer we got is “I don’t know.” At the third meeting, with 0 contribution, she still charged us at the full amount. We are so glad we switched accountant after that."
