Steak 'n Shake

"The kiosk is just sad. No real human contact and they want you to leave a tip!!! Why???? The service is gone. There is no customer serve. I have been three times now hoping it was just a fluke and it was not. The place is dirty, I waited 25 minutes to get my order. they gave my order to another customer, they were completely out of salt. The ice machine was broken son no ice. They have taken almost everything off the menu. No breakfast, no turkey sandwiches, no taco salads and more. It is just a huge disappointment and the food that is still on the menu is mediocre."

"This steak n' shake has moved to a full kiosk system. Avoid it if you were wanting table service. The food was great, and even with inflation, their 4 meals deal has only gone up a dollar. It has an updated feel, almost retrofurism rather than a pure diner aesthetic. It's a great place for a late night snack with friends after an event."

"The food is great! I was a little disappointed to see no breakfast options. With the new way things work, it didn't bother me to use the kiosk to order. However, when it asks if I would like to tip, I would like someone to walk my food out. If you are just going to yell my name from the kitchen, then no tip."

"The place was clean and the staff were accommodating. The reason for the 4- Star ratings is because they have gone to a McDonalds style of ordering. No more waiters or waitresses. They have also changed recipes on various items. For example, a Chili Mac no longer has a scoop of chili. It's just meat and a measly helping of their secret sauce. Honestly, it was on the verge of inedible until I got it home and made some changes."

"Every single time we order delivery something is missing or ridiculously wrong. This was our large cheese fry order. We are just happy we got all of our items this time."
