"This company outright lies and tries to get money out of you for very small damages. After my stay, they reached out to get me to buy them a brand new couch because my dog (in a pet friendly rental) left a small tear in the cushion. I don’t even know if it was my dog that did it, we kept a blanket down on it the entire time, but even so it’s a SMALL tear they sent photos of that doesn’t require a whole new couch! They also said pet hair and odor. Well don’t have it be pet friendly then! Those come with pets! I paid a $20 daily pet to them. The power also went out and they lied on their Airbnb profile saying it was a car that hit a pole so it was beyond their control when really it was a line in their backyard that the Comed employee told me DIRECTLY TO MY FACE, that snapped due to their overgrown trees IN THE BACKYARD. They also said in the listing that street parking is okay failing to mention to me that it is not and of course I got a parking ticket. This company starts of nice, communicative and providing you what you need, but they’re ultimately untrustworthy leeches."

"They started out pretty strong, providing a decent size apartment for a short term rental. I needed a place that would take dogs between the sale of my house and the closing on my new house - one month. After it took multiple times to get the functionality of the payment to work via VRBO, (an exorbitant price) they had to cancel and rebook and said someone else rented on my last day. It went downhill from there. The cost was astronomical. I paid it because I had few choices. Second, the property, although in a great neighborhood, was sub-standard. I had to super clean the bathroom before I felt comfortable using it. Mildew and mold on the ceiling. Some of the furniture was newer but most was a bit worn. They used the cheapest possible mattresses and bedding. Most of the accessories in the kitchen were from the Dollar Store. I had allergic symptoms the entire time I was there - the ventilation was really poor and something didn't smell right. They were mostly communicative -- until they got all my money. They didn't tell me someone was coming to fix the water heater - no warning. The last straw was the MOUSE! I should have known because of the trap in the basement, but COME ON. They charged a cleaning fee and a pet fee. Then they wanted to charge me $500 to replace their bedding for a minor stain. Why not use the pet fee for this? Why charge over and above the $4000 I paid to rent this place in the first place? I really wish I had taken photos but I was trying hard to be collaborative because I was in a tough spot."
