"Terrible service. I came today to try to talk with an advisor for wealth management and the lady at the counter told me there was nobody available and didn’t give me any options. Automatically asked if i was a citizen or have ssn (which i do) She was rude and not helpfull at all. Will take my investments somewhere else."
"Came in for some help in filling out financial paperwork. The front desk staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. They were very professional yet down-to-earth. I've been a Schwab customer for years and will continue to be."
"Honestly, I haven't been able to use their services. I've been calling for a week. They were supposed to call back within 24 to 48 hours. It's 7 days later. I've obtained specific numbers to consultants and no one will call back. If I can't get through, why would I trust them with my money!?"
"I am beyond shocked that a company of this caliber was unable to process an address change. I kept getting statements for my withdrawals from my Retirement Services accounts sent to my old address so I called at least twice to let them know that my address change didn't work. They assured me that they did it right and that it shouldn't happen anymore. I moved again, changed my address again, and of course, I still received my statements forwarded from the post office. Same problem. So I called AGAIN and was told the same story. "There is nowhere else that we can change the address, mam" insinuating what - that I don't know what a forwarded piece of mail is? So weeks go by, and I receive an important document about Federal Withholding, and once again, it's forwarded. I call AGAIN. The rep tells me that it's weird because I have e-delivery selected so I should be getting everything by email anyway. Then I read off the account number listed on the notice and he says it's not one of theirs. I tell him that I have been saying all along that they probably have a vendor that sends out the statements for them and they are not being kept in the loop about address changes. He finally figures it out and his explanation went over my head but it had to do with their internal systems not working well together. So, now I am seriously thinking of moving my money out of there. If they can't even handle a simple transaction like an address change, or train their employees to know how to fix this when it doesn't work out, causing my wasted time and their wasted time, I don't feel very comfortable with them keeping my money. Pathetic."
"I am a private client in three other major banks, the level of unprofessionalism in this bank as the predominant culture is not something I've witnessed anywhere else. A simple reply to an email for an urgent matter is NOT something your employees need to be trained on, it's the fact that you ENCOURAGE that behavior. I'm transferring my money out today and never looking back at your pathetic company."
