"Rodents and roaches !! Don’t move here! Recently sold to a company who is charging a lot! I don’t know how they dare to raise the prices!! It’s 4am and I can’t sleep because a noise woke me up… there is some sort of animal in the vents!!! A bit over a month ago there was a mouse in the apartment. On top of the thousands of roaches living here… crawling up on us while we sleep , eat and more. Get something better with these new prices ."

"READ!!!! Don’t waste your time here, I’ve lived here for a good time. They might have remodeled the apts but it’s still too much money for so little space. Buy or rent a condo instead. Also even if you’re the cleanest you will still end up with roaches! It’s just bad here you can’t even grill in your Own balcony any more. Another thing I had the two bed room apt and the small room gets really really hot and we had an ac on the window and they made us take it off but they wouldn’t install new ones!!"

"hallways aren’t secure smell musty and old , like an old folks home. roaches in the hallways and in the apartments, skunks and raccoons roam the complex at night, i almost got spray twice by the dumpster when i was throwing away trash, and 2 chased me and my dog on our evening walk. and there’s broken glass in a lot of spots on the lawns and a lot by the dumpsters. people leave their kids bikes all over so the outside looks so trashy like the projects. they spray for roaches but it doesn’t do anything."

"PLEASE BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT MOVING HERE TAKE THIS REVIEW SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! This place is absolutely ridiculous. Especially building 419 owned by Mr. Waters. I knew someone close to me that lived there & the whole time it was horrible. First of all the apartment was filthy upon moving in which is not very professional. The hallways smells every day like a reptile cage & that smell came in their home. In the apartment the walls are cracking & shifting, there are water bubbles everywhere in ceiling throughout the apartment. This person caught 14 mice within 2 months with photos to prove them, you can hear them in walls running around. They even went to the Village of Wheeling! My friend LOST all their furniture due to the mice chewing and leaving feces on them and in them. There are roaches & water roaches, black mold because the pipes leak. When they contacted the landlord with their issues they where blamed on bringing all the mice & roaches. The air conditioning system would turn off at anytime while running, besides it didn't cool the whole house down at all. The patio screen door didn't close right so all kinds of bugs came indoors. Be careful of what you do, say or have over because the neighbors are very nosy and will the landlord your business. After awhile the landlord will ignore your phone calls & office personnel are very lazy and rude. The building buzzers don't work, the building door isn't even secured so anyone can come in! Men drink in the parking lot at all hours . Your walls are thin that you can hear everything. Your neighbors will bang your wall if they feel your to loud & eventually will call the landlord to complain! The law for security deposit in Illinois is 30 days after leaving! They push it to 45 days after leaving. THEY WON'T DO A WALK THROUGH WITH YOU, so take either a video or pictures that you cleaned. Depends on the landlord they still will find a loop hole no to pay the WHOLE security deposit back!! This place should be distorted."

"Seen a lot of reviews on here about mice, roaches, cockroaches etc. and as a current resident of about 2 months, I have not noticed a single one of these things. I regularly see the carpet being cleaned at the entrances/ staircases. Any questions I had before and after move in were answered completely by a very friendly girl in the rental office. The children here are quiet and respectful. All of our appliances work as they should. The only complaint I have is that I wish the landlord turned the heat up a little bit (65 degrees inside is pretty cold when its 20 degrees outside). I think a lot of the people who rated this place below 4 stars need to learn how to handle their problems better. If you speak to people with respect than they will be more willing to help you. Pay your rent on time, be civil and bring up your problems in a respectful manor and you will live here just fine. Recommending this place to anyone in the market for an apartment."
