"I enjoyed this community from 2016 to 2022. The designer of Regency Place deserves an award. Everything is tailored towards making resident lives easier. From the indoor heated garage or the indoor pool to the little stands by the door of each apartment. Management was always incredibly helpful, and maintenance took care of the orders promptly. Five stars Regency Place!"
"I am very picky about rental communities but this one is really nice in Oakbrook area. It’s been nearly 6 months, and we live in 2 bed 2 bath with one garage spot included and one additional spot bought for $100/month for total monthly rent of around $2500 plus utilities. Pros: community is small and very clean, amenities are very good, indoor swimming pool, gym of descent size and equipments, maintenance is fast and reasonable, management is quick to response, and neighbors are supportive, smiling and affluent. Cons: I’d not even consider this cons but there are somethings could have been better. Management sends too many emails - sometimes twice a day generalized emails. This could be minimized, sometimes feel spamming of our emails. In 2bed 2 bath, there is not a single walk in closet, probably this could be improved. Packages are sorted and kept in a room but sometimes they are mislabeled and have had difficulty in finding or went to other units. Should be a more organized way for packages in such a nice community.. We would certainly recommend this community. If any change of mind, would edit the review when we leave. Update: March 4, 2023 I changed my ratings from 5 stars to one star for the below mentioned reason. In last 9 months, their fake fire alarms went off 6 times with noise decibel of above 140. Despite the multiple complaints to find out the root cause every time the management have failed us to deal with this issue. We have a 5 month old baby who gets startled and remained stunned for 15 min after this unbearable fake noise which is troublesome for even adults. There are multiple kids, infants and senior citizens in the community, and this management has been consistently failing in tacking care of this. Although rest of the things may be better at this community, their mail organizations system and fake fire alarms have changed my recommendations, and I’d certainly NOT recommend this community to any of my friends now onwards."
"I resided at the Regency for 5 years. Year 1 was the best, and the last year was the worst. The last straw was when 3 of my recreational vehicles parked outside were broken into in one night. 2 of the 3 office staff were very disrespectful, accusing my own employees of causing the break in, even though my employees all have keys, and the vehicles were empty. They refused to look at camera footage and actually threatened to tow my vehicles if I moved them into the circle. The 2 office staff are incredibly disconnected from the residents. Some think that it's jealousy that exists, but others believe it's just their personality. The Regency used to be a wonderful place to live. It used to be very safe and comfortable. Now there are a number of break-ins, and the worst thing is they don't make the Residents aware of the break ins. They want to keep it under wraps to avoid bad publicity. Love the smell of marijuana? This place is for you! The hallways are filled with smells of skunk at night. They claim they are a smoke free building, but that's not even the slightest bit true. The Hampton Models, on both sides of the building, either 2000 or 2005, share a wall (closet/bathroom) with a transformer that powers the entire floors with electricity. These transformers are typically outside of buildings, but the beautiful design of the regency had transformers inside, next to bedrooms. The EMF ratings I was receiving inside of the apartment was as high as 50 with the shared wall. That's equivalent to standing 3 inches from a microwave when running. The transformers also make a very loud humming noise during peak hours. The only good thing about the Regency is 1 office staff personnel, the maintenance staff, and the heated garage."
"A beautiful place to live with outstanding amenities!! I highly recommend Regency Place!!"
"There have been multiple police issues at the complex and the maintenance has been horrible. There are many structural issues that RMK has known about for YEARS that has yet to be repaired. Some of these structural issues result in anyone living on floor 1-3 to have water leaks coming in through the balcony sliding door. Aside from that, anyone in the complex can have leaks in any window due to the framing of the window not being aligned correctly."
