Grays Pointe Apartments

"I cannot emphasize just how BAD living at Grays Pointe apartments was. Staff is extremely unorganized and rude; move-in was a huge hassle and move-out was actually worse. Maintenance does not keep up with maintaining the property. Our dog was bit by a Pitbull which is a breed not allowed on property and the only concrete steps Grays pointe took was sending an email blast to keep dogs on a leash. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GRAYS POINTE APARTMENTS!!"

"Me and my gf went to the gym last night at 4:30. Forgot both of our keys so we were locked out. My partner went to the leasing office and the lady gave my girlfriend a temp key and said , “you better hurry up and come back”. Guess she wanted to leave exactly on time when the office closes at 5. Talk about hospitable & professional. If it was me I would have went home and watched Lord of the Rings, Return of the King. Just to not return to the office."

"Lived here for 2 years, I was so sad to leave. It was an amazing little experience in 1912 102. The unit was clean, and very nice. No issues other than an ant here or there. I read bad reviews and cant imagine saying one bad thing about the place. Not sure, but as of 2023, this place rocks! Wish I could have stayed."

"Lived at Grays Pointe for a little over 2 years. Did not have the greatest experience unfortunately. The positives about staying here was that all of my neighbors were extremely nice, and the maintenance staff was super friendly and responsive. But the positives stop there… My car was burglarized multiple times. Had to purchase a garage to ensure that my vehicle wasn’t getting tampered with during the night. I reported each incident to the staff, and was literally told “I wondered why my dogs were going crazy last night” by a staff member who lives on the property. Nothing was done to make that parking area more secure. I also had to repair a total of 6 flat tires because of the debris, mainly screws, scattered through parking lots. I still haven’t received my security deposit back, and I moved out approximately 7 months ago. There were no communicated issues with the unit after move out. I contacted the housing office, and was told there was nothing they could do to help, and to contact the corporate office. I have no clue how to get in contact with the correct person to inquire about my security deposit. I would not currently recommend living here. However, with some adjustments to property upkeep, making the parking areas more secure, and if the office staff were more invested in helping residents when issues arise, it would be a good place to live. It’s just missing the mark for me. ***UPDATE*** Received security deposit January 2023. Nine months after move out."
