"Was really excited to try this new place in Downtown Davenport. We arrived 5 min before our reservation and although there were plenty of tables open, they did not seat us for 20 more minutes. Sat at the bar for a drink. Food was good. Not sure if the food + the entire experience is worth the price, however. Appetizers came out a bit slow, then 5 mins later the entrees came out. We have visited Bass St Chop House many times and still like it better for fine dining, the pacing of the courses is much better. Mashed potatoes were dry. Very tiny amount of goat cheese in the appetizer. Waiter seemed to be in a hurry for us to leave. Overall an ok experience, would definitely consider trying it again in the future."

"My wife and I had our first lunch experience, at the Garrison and it was great. From the moment you walk in the door, the amazing decor and music, takes you back in time; nothing like it in the QC. The service and food were top notch. The food tasted as good as it looks, ask for Adrian when you try lunch there. Then the finale, the deserts...wow, they look like art...we had to take pics. We will definitely be back, next time for dinner."

"It could be spectacular, but they’re not quite there yet. Before I get into the bad, I’d really like to share that the food was good! I recommend the egg appetizer. And the staff were friendly. Now, a few things that were disappointing: -Our Waitress at the bar needs more training. She couldn’t remember any part of our order. She proceeded to take our order, without writing it down, and then we had to repeat everything back to her as she typed it in a few minutes later. She ended up forgetting our appetizer, as well as ordered us the wrong duck from the menu, and it was either her writing the order down incorrectly, or the cook, but I ordered my filet mignon medium rare, it came out well done (and a bit too salty). And she also asked what kind of dressing I wanted for my Caesar salad… -Please please change the music. The hip hop trying to turn it into a martini lounge rendition was just terrible. Just play some good old fashioned Sinatra. Overall, I really am excited for this place. I know they just opened, so I’m hoping to come back in a few weeks to have better and improved results."

"The food and cocktails were good. They need some work on their service. We asked what kind of butter was with the bread and they said they didn't know. I ordered cauliflower with my filet and they forgot so I didn't get it until at least 10 minutes after my steak, and they charged us for the appetizer cauliflower, which is more expensive than the accompaniments. If it were my restaurant I wouldn't have charged for that at all..I feel like it's a bit overpriced. But I would go back in a few months since they just opened."

"The venue is a nice spot and well appointed in terms of decor. I will say they could probably remove some tables or make some four tops into two tops, seating is a bit crowded and you are pretty close to neighboring tables. Food was good, they have many options to satisfy most. Cocktails were good as well and they have some nice takes on the classics. The things I thought could have been better (kept in mind they are new): reservations were booked and instead of restaurant side they tried to seat us on bar side, our reservations stated it was anniversary and the server asked if we were celebrating anything. One of our drinks had a glass that smelled dirty (likely from a wipe down of rag). In all is was good experience but the details are still missing, I’m sure they will get them dialed in."
