"As a first time renter, living here was a great lesson in doing my research on a place and not falling for new renovations and cheap rent prices. The first few months we lived here were fine. The staff were welcoming, the unit was newly renovated, and the price was lower than most of the other complexes in the area. It wasn’t until later we realized how many issues the place actually had. We started to get water coming in through our windows, our fans, and our smoke detectors. We ended up having the fire department and the city inspector at our place after the smoke detectors kept filling with water. They’d go off in the middle of the night and we were continuously told to just unplug them because “that’s what everyone else does”. We were initially told we were the only unit with this issue… and then later found out most 2nd and 3rd floor units were dealing with the same thing. Nobody ever did a moisture or mold test, despite our requests. There were clear paint bubbles from where water had been getting through and we were told the bubbles were because of dust when they were painting. Throughout the year we lived there, it just seemed like the maintenance staff were trying to downplay all the issues— I’m sure at the insistence of upper manangement. We decided not to re-sign in December before the management switch was announced. I am so grateful we did… and I’m sure Greystar is too since they’re now charging $400 more than what we were paying. Under new management, paying our rent was nearly impossible due to a complete lack of communication, phones not working, emails not being answered, and no working resident portal. We had to pay our rent with a check, and when we did, they lost the check. Instead of calling us saying we “didn’t pay our rent”, they taped a terminantion of tenancy notice to our door 5 days before we moved out. The original leasing staff with BH were wonderful to us. They were clearly just as frustrated as we were with management, but really tried their best to help us. 99% of those staff members left or were let go almost immediately after Greystar took over. The new staff is completely overwhelmed and have been less than helpful. I never write reviews for places, but living here was such a terrible experience that it feels unethical to not write one. There were squirrels living in our ceilings, dog poop all over the sidewalks, people walking around smoking weed during the day and the occasional guy huffing paint at night— no joke. There’s also a clause in our lease that says you can’t file a class action lawsuit against them… which really should’ve been red flag #1. My advice: do your research and don’t ignore the bad reviews you read about a place. :-)"

"don’t move here. the fees added to the rent are ridiculous, the apartments are incredibly cheap, the typical hairs painted into your walls, carpet not put in correctly, random nails on the floor, no insulation, new management has made it difficult to pay december rent. also they put huge families into tiny apartments on the second floor so if you’re base level you can listen to them stomp around at all hours! if you value your sleep, peace or money find somewhere else. i was happier on the east side edit/ i would get in touch but i have emailed multiple times to no response. all listed numbers do not work. it’s ridiculous there’s not even a working number to call. residents have got no update on a new portal system for rent."

"I decided to delete and update my review. I am doing so since the management of the property has changed hands and I figured publicity would be the only way to handle the issues I have been having. I moved in to this complex in August 2022 when it was Aspen Place. The name changed a few weeks later. Kylie and Jesus were very patient and accommodating with my needs and I am very grateful. I really enjoyed my time at this complex until the new upstairs neighbors moved in in April 2023. I have had to call the Aurora Police Department on them 4 times for noise -- all lease violations. I have emailed/phoned the office several times about the pit bulls (2) in their unit - another lease violation. I am okay with neighbors having kids; however I do not think a 2 bedroom unit on the second floor is the right setting for 3 children under 4. I have even reached out to the former management company (BH Mgmt) about the dogs in the unit. They are housed above my bedroom/bathroom area. They are scratching and clawing at the floor -- about 80-90% of the time. The male tenant seldom takes the dogs out during the day. Only at night so no one can see they are pit bulls. I guess I am supposed to live with the noise from the dogs to convenience them. My next door neighbor smokes in her unit; despite the complex having a Clean Air Act. My bedroom and bathroom will smell like smoke constantly. One night I came home from work and my entire unit smelled like marijuana. I'm not against smokers; but be respectful to your neighbors. Especially those with allergies. The tenant next to her at the end of the building has a large pick up truck. They should not be parking in the 4 spaces in front of the building if they know there is little backing clearance. That is why one of the garages was severely damaged and the one next to it has a huge dent in it. Between those issues, the conditions at the mail center (I'm not sure if this is a complex situation or a USPS situation) are often embarrassing. Mail on the ground, blowing around. Someone had a package stolen. We had car burglaries a few months ago. Throwing out trash is a nightmare. The maintenance here do amazing work and they are beyond patient with what they have to deal with on the grounds. I would like to see things improve with the change of management because this is a very nice complex in a very nice area. I went to middle school across the street from 1995-1997. So I am used to this area. If things improve, I would love to increase the number of stars -- since this is a 4-5 star complex in my mind. Thank you."

"Great leasing office employees, I couldn’t have asked for a friendlier group of workers who went above and beyond from the second I stepped in there requesting information & now I hope to be a resident at this lovely community, everything so far is so nice from the leasing office to the community to the amazing unit I am moving into and you can’t beat the price! It was truly the nicest of all the complexes I visited (& I visited a lot) as well as the best group of leasing agents, I did not think the price was accurate until it was confirmed. Honestly so rare to find such kind hard working people these days let alone the beautiful community, unit & price."

"I had an amazing experience while touring one of the apartments here. Kylie who was our tour guide was just absolutely amazing! Everything was nice and clean, and the scenery was beautiful. I cannot wait to call this place home."
