Reviews of Springs at Three Oaks Apartments
"Luxury in an apartment setting. The fenced complex is superbly maintained. All the people are prompt and very friendly. It's an active community with pleasant guests and a beautiful pool, workout room and clubhouse."
"Current Resident - if you are planning to move here make sure to be very handy because maintenance here don’t take things seriously. As I’m writing this review right now at 10pm and just finished unclog the toilet and still have to clean the whole bathroom because it flooded and they did absolutely NOTHING!! I called at 3pm and ask for a maintenance ASAP because the bathroom was clogged and wasn’t working, by 6pm no one was here so I called again and ask what time they were going to come, and the response was I don’t think they will. I advised they toilet was flooding but still the same response. In another words, that’s your problem if you need to use the bathroom, waiting until MAYBE tomorrow. I ran to Walmart and bought product to try to unclog and finally after running for there for the second time I was able to do it myself, spent ($40) out of my pocket to do a the job the it supposed be included on my “luxury” apartment. So again, if you are planning on moving here DO NOT expect anything to be resolved on a reasonable time. The “luxury” is just a label, they get things done when they want not when you need."
"Recently moved in, and everything in the unit was in good condition. Sure, there were a couple of spots here and there, but that’s going to be normal for a place like this. Overall, we enjoy it and the dog parks are awesome. Can’t wait for the spring time to come around so we can enjoy the other amenities! The community offers a handyman service which has maintenance be able to set up things in your home for a fee, we got our 75inch tv mounted to the wall and they did a great job. The gate is a nice feature and the amenities are awesome. As of right now, I’d recommend to live here but don’t forget to do more research. Everyone’s experience and opinions are going to be different."
"Current Resident. Even though they market themselves as a luxury apartment the quality, or lack thereof is highly noticeable once you begin living in the space. 1. During winter, the grounds are absolutely not maintained. They hardly ice the sidewalks let alone the plow the parking lots. When they do plow, its after 10pm when the snow is already so packed down from the day that you wake up to a nice ice rink outside. I cant emphasize the huge inconvenience this brings. 2. The sealing on the doors are a joke. Attached here is a photo of our patio door on a MILD winter day. We now constantly have a towel blocking the door. 3. The whole trash situation drives me crazy. They have you pay for "Valet Trash" and supply you a trashcan that you are supposed to put outside your front door most nights; however, the trash has left us notes refusing to pick up our trash because he ripped the back (we double bag). They also without fail, always snap the lip off our trashcan. They also don't pick up Friday and Saturday (two of the weirdest days to pick) Overall not worth the additional cost, I would much rather bring my own trash to the dumpster but they don't offer that option. 4. Over Quality of the apartment is showing and they aren't even five years old yet. For one, the door frames are a very, very soft material that dent and break easily. This is important if you use the over the door hooks like in the bathroom to give you more space to hang towels. The boards under the kitchen cabinets weren't securely attached to the base and they just fall off. The Dishwasher isn't secured to the counter nor the cabinet so it just wiggles around (we mentioned this when we moved in cause we did not want to be responsible if it broke), nothing was done. The floorboards of the apartment are separating in numerous spots. ( I have attached a photo for reference). 5. The staff are not educated to be answering questions regarding the lease. Now I am not stupid and I read the lease; however, before we signed and submitted an application I asked standard questions such as, "Are you able to light candles", the answer was yes, "Are there any restrictions on balcony decorations", the answer was no, etc. However, the lease says no candles, and does have specifications regarding balcony decoration. Now this isn't a huge issue; however, it’s the principle. 6. The stupid gate. I hate this gate. It was so important to me to have some type of security surrounding the complex due to personal reason; this establishment has a gate. However, this gate is always broken for some reason. Its also open for such a long period of time after you get gate access that so many cars just zoom in after you, (I am aware some of these are residence; however, there are many occasions when there are cards waiting for someone to open the gate so they can zoom in). 7. A little personal of a issue however; pretty sure one of the office staff live in the apartment under us and their dog straight up pissed in front of our door (Like on the concrete patio in front of our door) and he just let it happen). 8. Every time I call the office I never receive a call back nor have I ever actually talked to a real human while calling the office. 9. The smoke alarm goes off for any and every reason. You breathe too much and it goes off I swear to god. My oven and stovetop are clean so I don't understand this one. 10. We have a community wall and 99% of the posts are "My package is missing", "Has anyone seen my package, "Hey ___________ I have your package". They can label the buildings better or have a package drop off section in the front office. The lease they can do for the cost of living here. Overall, it's just too much money for the actual quality of the apartment. Fear of the lack of quality of the build being our problem when we move out is stressful so we essentially live on our toes trying not to damage what's already so fragile."
"Current resident here. I just wanted to say that this has been the worst experience I could have ever imagined. Would highly recommend renting elsewhere. For an apartment that deems itself "luxury" and will cost you at least 2k/month, it is a joke. The staff at the front is nice enough, seems helpful/responsive. That's where it ends. From the failure of the so called "security door" that has worked all of 10 days since moving in the September, the doors around the facility that are wide open for any one to walk through, the chewed up front mat we have because of the snow blower(without any email or apology), the fire alarm that goes off when the oven is above 400 degrees, the list goes on. By far the worst "luxury" apartment. We have sat by and watched all of these problems continue, enough is enough. People pay some real money to live here. It is easy to see how this company does not actually give a s*** about the residents and only about profit. Incredibly disappointed and cannot wait to get out of this lease. Spending 2k a month on a one bedroom apartment should make the experience flawless, this apartment is by far a waste of money. Go elsewhere. Renting is rough out there, at least you can find somewhere a lot cheaper for the quality here."
