"Somewhat affordable, not worth the price regardless. The keys are the issue. They stop working all the time, I had to get a new key weekly when I first lived here because they just stop working. My keycard scanner stopped working entirely in the cold and had to call a work order. Unreliable :/."
"Oh my where do I start out 4 girls moved in and it was the most tragic thing to watch the looks on their faces. The apartment was beyond filthy. They said they will get profession cleaners in there. That should have already been done. My daughter is an asthmatic and this place is covered in nicotine. Even a giant burn hole in her sink counter top. The toilet bounces on the floor when you sit down and makes a horrific noise when flushing obviously needs a new toilet. The carpets are beyond dirty with black grime running all along the trim. The ceiling are cover literally every bed and common rooms with black dusty nicotine so you can’t even dust it off. Killed 2 brown recluse just moving her in. Grease on the cabinets so thick it is black.these girls were so utterly deflated. I have never in my life seen anything this bad. Professional cleaners better scrub that place from top to bottom ASAP which will be hard since all of their things are in there. The place smelled like stale cigarette smoke and urine. Completely disgusted something better get done or I’m going viral. That’s just dumb having it in that state when they know parents are coming!!!!! Check out the pictures. And then on top of it had to pay rent by July 26th can’t move in until Aug 16th so rent should have been prorated considering they will only be there for 10days before rent is due again. Those aren’t even common room pictures or kitchen."
"Don’t stay here unless you want to be close to campus. I couldn’t even make it my whole lease because the building and room were horrible. When I moved in there was mold in my shower, I had to get my microwave replaced, the carpet looked like it was never replaced and there was water damage under the kitchen sink. The maintenance team was nice but that’s about it. This place is not worth $500 a month."
"I lived here for 2 years in college and it was unbearable. The biggest issue was having brown recluses and wasps that you couldn’t get rid of. There were constant issues with the AC, which resulted in weeks of our apartment being 90 degrees. The “temporary solution” they provided ran our electric bill up significantly which we had to pay, and after it was “fixed” it would stop working again a short time after. The door leading to the balcony wasn’t sealed so water would come in when it rained. We addressed this more times than I can count but it was never fixed. After speaking to some other people that lived there we also discovered that everyone was paying significantly different prices (Hundreds of dollars difference) for the same units, which was frustrating because it was such a bad experience. They often run specials to make you think you’re getting a good deal, but someone in the same building as you could be paying half of what you pay. I understand that rates can vary at different times, but they seem to take advantage of students, who often times are moving into their first apartment with limited options near campus and don’t know any better. If issues were ever brought up there was always an excuse as to why it wasn’t fixed. They respond to people in the reviews apologizing for not meeting their expectations, but they never actually take responsibility and fix the problems that everyone complains about. Cape trails is so horribly maintained, and it’s a shame it’s located so close to SEMO because a lot of people get trapped into the convenience of it just as we did. The girls in the leasing office are sweet, but that’s the only nice thing I can think to say about this place."
