"I recommend Kara Kang 100% and here is why: I have to multiple different acupuncturists each with a certain style. They all were knowledgeable but missing something. Kara has that little extra that was lacking in all the other places I have been. You can tell if a person is naturally calm or if they are just calm in the moment and Kara is calm and soothing always. She gives off such a positive vibe and has a quiet calmness to her. When you are getting acupuncture, you need to be relaxed. So if you are in an environment that is hyper/excited/upbeat… how are you going to truly get everything you need out of it? With Kara, she not only has a relaxing calm space, but she is as well. So that energy is transferred to me and I can tell completely when I am done with my session a huge difference. She is a naturally sweet caring human. Another thing I really appreciate about her that I didn’t see in others is how adaptable she is. I go for several ongoing reasons, but sometimes something pops up that wasn’t there the session before (headache, dizziness, backaches, ankle pain, etc) So she is able to change up how we lay on the table to accommodate not only my covid long hauler symptoms but also the newly developed issues. Other places I have gone to, I didn’t see that change. I saw the same points week after week and I felt it didn’t stick…meaning I could have gone back a few days later to get treatment again. Not with Kara though. Kara is so knowledgeable, she is sweet, she is kind, but most importantly she explains what she is doing, why she is doing it and how it will help. I don’t typically write reviews but I am truly passionate about this. I drive pretty far to get to her considering there is a place less than 3 miles from my house but once you find someone that you like, you tend to stick with them. Kara has helped me improve in so many areas of life. I felt at a loss before I met her with no hope of fixing what covid did but I am slowly getting back to my old self.
