"Wonderful caring staff! Made an appointment online on Northshore connect, and was also able to check in. During my appointment I received very good care, the nurse practioner was so nice and compassionate. It is also so convenient that they have xray and blood work lab right at the facility. I will be using and recommending this Northshore facility in the future."
"Came in for bloodwork. It was very busy so they gave me a time to come back. They had the work done right at the time they gave me in as quick of an appointment as I could have had. Procedures seemed clear to all parties, contrary to many reviews so wanted to share a good experience."
"I showed up an hour before closing. They said I didn't have an appt and they were "done seeing patients." The clincher was when the front desk worker told me "we've been open since noon." WHAT??!! I wasn't sick then!"
"I had to go to this facility and was told I could get an appointment 90 minutes later, so I left and came back. Then, I waited 15 minutes to be called into a room to get my vitals. I then waited another 30 minutes in the room to see a doctor. I first asked if I'd be seen soon (after 15 minutes), and they said, "Yes, we'll be right in." Fifteen minutes later, I asked again, and the doctor apologized. I then had to ask whether or not my strep test was negative or positive. First, she said it was negative, and she was going to double-check. Then, she told me it was positive, and went over the protocol. Next, I received a phone call from her after walking out of the clinic stating that she had misdiagnosed me, and was actually looking at a different patient's chart. My strep test had been negative after all. Though she was kind about this experience, it was incredibly scary to be misdiagnosed. Also, when asked if I was allergic to any medications, I specifically said I couldn't take NSAIDS due to other medication I am on. She said to take Motrin with food for any pain while I was in the room, over the phone, and via NorthShore. This is extremely concerning for me. Luckily, I know enough about medicine to know that this is terrible medical advice for me, but I wonder how often this happens with other patients? I will not be returning to this facility, nor will I be recommending this facility."
"I went here to get an emergency refill on an anxiety medication and had to deal with the rudest doctor I've ever met, who caused me to have a panic attack, then scolded me for it, prevented me from regulating it, escalated it, and wouldn't give me room to speak. I was treated with so much disrespect - in fact, the way I was treated should be shown to people to teach them how NOT to interact with someone who has anxiety."
