"I was experiencing a sharp chest pain and asked a relative to take me to an immediate care clinic. I avoided the ER purposely in order not to be charged for high hospital charges or ER services. Upon arriving, I informed the medic on duty that I took 3 COVID tests and they were all negative. The medic insisted that they need to do one onsite for certainty despite the fact that I did not want this service and refused it. I am now billed $165 for this test that I refused. The USPS is offering them for free, why would anyone pay $165?? Additionally, I have some history of high blood pressure so I also refused an EKG as it is a known issue. Again, the medic insisted that it’s for “safety measures” insisting it needed to be done. After refusing, they still proceeded with the EKG. I am now being charged $95 for the procedure and another $58 for the report. These services were refused. Lastly, I was charged $900 for HOSPITAL services for the X-Ray images. I purposely avoided the hospital, so that my bill would not be astronomical. The medical staff did not disclose that I would still be charged for hospital services even though I visited the IMMEDIATE CARE CLINIC. $900 is absolutely unreasonable for an X-Ray! It seems that individuals with insurance coverage get billed disproportionally to individuals without insurance. I was told it would be about $150-$250 if I did not have insurance because there is an automatic 30% discount for patients with no insurance and additional adjustments. This is absolutely discriminatory toward patients that pay for healthcare. The services are up-charged in order to bill the insurance carrier more, resulting in higher out of pocket and co-insurance costs for the insured. More over, the only treatment provided was a 200mg over-the-counter ibuprofen and I was sent home. This facility billed my insurance $1,723 for 2 X-rays, all meanwhile no cause to my chest pain was found and no treatment provided to lessen the symptoms outside of an over-the-counter ibuprofen. This is a predatory practice by the facility to bill for services that were refused, and for hospital services at elevated costs rather than immediate care level tier prices. Please remove the charges for the unwanted procedures and make necessary adjustment to bill for correct facilities as the HOSPITAL WAS AVOIDED. These charges are predatory, deceptive, and fabricated."
"I travel 28miles to see my doctor at this location because of the amazing care I receive. Last year when I was so sick of my dr office, my aunt suggested I check out her dr office, it was farther then I usually drive but I was at my whit's end with local drs I had tried, so I figured what did I have to loose. I actually mailed her a thank you card because I am so happy to now have a dr office where I feel the whole staff cares about patients. When I need an appointment, it is convenient to schedule a visit or test. When I come into the office, the front desk is friendly and the nurses help transition you to the dr's seamlessly. The doctors I have had the privilege's of meeting have done a great job in helping me navigate my care plan. I felt very safe with their practices for in office visits and from the front door to the rooms, you can see the clean surfaces that they must work hard to keep up. I feel I am in good hands and if you are looking for a new practice, I would highly recommend giving them a try."
"I went in recently to the imaging department and could not have had a worse experience. I waited almost 45 minutes in my car to be brought in after checking in online and after going inside the building was told it would be about another 30 minutes (what was the point of having an appointment?) I asked if it would be okay if I sat in my car to wait and was told they would call me when they were ready for me. I took a few moments before I went out to my car and instead overheard the front desk staff speaking poorly of me for wanting to wait in my car. The ultrasound tech was unfriendly, rude, and completely condescending. When I went to check out after my appointment, I barely got a glance as the front desk staff were both seated and deeply involved in their cell phones. They did not even look at me to tell me I was good to go. It was completely unprofessional and an overall extremely uncomfortable visit. Who is running this place?"
"This is the worst reception in all the hospitals I have visited in US. Please advertise and inform people when calling in that Walk In is available only for established patients. For new patients, try to be courteous and help them find a suitable physician. Don't expect a new patient to walk in and tell the Dr's name. No wonder you have poor ratings. Well deserved."
"its my second time attending this place, the first one being for myself, second one being for my boyfriend. We were attended really quick, as we were doing a walk-in, so there was no disappointment there. He did tell me though, that he spent more time with the nurse than he did with the actual Doctor. We then came to Walgreens to get a prescription and waited, only to find out it was a toddlers chewables prescription made out to a 28 year old. The nurse clearly was not paying attention to what she was doing or what she was prescribing. And now we have to wait for the new prescription to be sent. Can definitley say I'm very disappointed."
