Spine & Wellness Clinic - Dr Wendy L. Flynn, Chiropractic Physician

"Please, be very careful signing anything in this office. Dr. Flynn takes complete advantage of a person in pain, possibly taking medication and being very vulnerable. I had never used a chiropractor before and was not clear on how things worked. I was charged $3200 (deductible and max # of visits allowed with my insurance). I now know that most offices do not operate the way she does. The doctor is an aggressive salesperson as well as, probably, a knowledgeable professional but I realized (within 2 hours of signing her contract) that I would never utilize her services for the maximum number of visits allowed and was being pressured. I immediately, two hours after my first visit, texted regarding my wish to drop out of her program (communicating as per her instructions). I got no response then a day later was pressed to come in and discuss this. Again, she would not listen to me. I offered to pay full price per visit and was told no and bullied into having another treatment as I was still vulnerable and in a lot of pain. Again I asked to pay in full for the two visits and was denied so I cancelled all future appointments. Of course after months of waiting there is no communication or refund of any amount. I think this is really unbelievable for a medical service and in our lovely community. Wish I had read other complaints as they are all similar. Please don’t make the same mistake. I’m happy to speak with anyone that has a question."

"Jim and Dr. Wendy are great people who truly care and are willing to help! They are very kind and understanding. They have gone above and beyond to help me get taken care of while experiencing some difficulties with my insurance. I have gone to other chiropractors for months and have never felt the relief I felt after seeing Dr. Flynn a few times. The environment in this place is so relaxing! I love coming here after a long day of work. Almost a year with them now and I can truly say they are the absolute best!!!!"

"Dr. Wendy Flynn is kind patient and always willing to help out their patients no matter the financial situation. She comes in on her days off and stays late and is always willing to help each patient with their needs. She always makes an effort to be kind to everyone and treat every patient with understanding. Dr Flynn is always taking new patients."

"Dr. Wendy is amazing! In only a matter of two weeks, she was able to open up my right shoulder and release at least 3 separate trigger points! I spent 6+ months with a physical therapist who wasn’t able to help me this much. I HIGHLY recommend her if you are in need of a chiropractor. Or just care about your overall physical health!"

"I have many complaints about Dr. Wendy. Firstly, she uses the same approach with all patients, regardless of what their medical concerns are. She also does not listen to what you know about your condition and body, which led to increased pain a few times when she or her staff forgot or ignored my hypermobility. Secondly, she asks you to pay her up front for a large number of visits. She says that she is providing a discount in doing so, but if you find that her services are not working she will not refund you. She provided me with the number of visits she thought I needed up front, but when it didn't seem to be helping she just told me I needed more. She also billed my insurance over $1,000 for a hip alignment belt that we had not discussed, and that I found online for $30. She wouldn't have told me about it if I hadn't been checking my statements. Thirdly, she doesn't change out the towels on her spinal alignment table between patients, so you are putting your head and body where many others have over the day. She also is not vaccinated, despite being a medical provider, and did not wear a mask during the height of COVID. Finally, she just started providing a weight loss program that is not clinically supported, and it feels like she is pushing it on all patients regardless of body health. Overall, she preys on rich people and insurance companies, while not providing services that help people. I strongly encourage you not to see her."
