"I usually don't rate, post or use social media in general, but I feel compelled to give a review. Just over a year ago my teen child was going through some serious mental health struggles. My wife and I didnt know where to go. A school counselor recommended rogers so we tried it. We are so glad that we did. I went from having a child that lost all hope and was impossible to live with to a functioning college student that has ambition and is doing well in college classes while living on their own. Its been a year since my child left rogers. Thank you to the staff at Rogers. We couldn't have done it without you."
"Rogers is really the only program of its kind. A good part of your time at the clinic is spent doing individualized exposures or other work that is catered directly to your needs. I've tried other programs for my OCD/anxiety and they cannot compare to the kind of care you find here. Most programs utilize only groups or groups and a small amount of exposure time, which doesn't lend itself to a lasting recovery. Anytime I have done a program outside of Rogers I've ended up back in treatment. I would recommend any friend or family member come here and I would feel confident that they are in great hands. Shoutout to the OCD/Anxiety therapists and Dr. G!!!"
"I have had prior experience of being at the PHP program for Rogers in Hinsdale, unfortunately I had to seek help again. The fortunate part about it, I got to return to top-notch care. I have been to other treatment programs around the Chicago Land Area, they do not get to the heart of the problem. Rogers takes an individual approach. Speaking for the trauma and OCD programs, they are self driven, if you want to overcome your mental illness then you do the work and do the exposures. My Therapist Beth and Doctor (Dr G.) are out of this world. They trust you to make the right decisions and become involved in your treatment. At Rogers, you learn to trust the process and push yourself to get better because in the end you will be in charge of your life and wellness upon release. If you want to get better and get your life back, come to Rogers."
"I came here seeking help overcoming my childhood trauma from bullying. Left here in worse shape than I arrived. I trusted the wrong people and was too honest with people that didn’t deserve it. Now, I’m down several thousand dollars and my second amendment rights are most likely gone as long as I breathe. The staff are inept, jumpy, and too quick to form opinions on things they know nothing about. Not a good combination when you’re talking about someone who has the ability to permanently alter your life. Even if you are not actively suicidal or a danger to yourself, they will overreact unless you walk a tightrope of “acceptable” behavior and say exactly what they want you to. What good is “seeking help” if you’re scared to be honest because of some outmoded rules? I had dreams of moving somewhere rural to escape the way the world’s heading these days. Now, thanks to these (fill in the expletive) I’ll be defending my home with a crossbow. I found a therapist that actually works and can differentiate someone who’s a genuine threat to themselves and someone just having a rough time. Active and passive ideation. This allows me to get the help I need without losing my rights/getting hospitalized for no legitimate reason. Too bad I went to Roger’s first. My mom always told me a degree doesn’t make someone smart; and the staff at Roger’s are a shining example of this statement. If you’re reading this, don’t make the same mistake I did. Go somewhere else."
"I attended the FOCUS program at this facility for a few months, and it was somewhat helpful. The facility is quite nice and the staff are very kind and compassionate. There can be a lot of free time during PHP, which can be a double-edged sword at times. It is really important to advocate for yourself, or you won't get much out of your treatment to be honest. The provider that I saw at the tail end of my treatment (I was seeing another but she left) was very understanding and actually took the time to sit and talk with me which is very rare when it comes to psychiatrists (unfortunately). However, my biggest complaint is how much this place costs. For 3 HOURS (IOP), Rogers billed my insurance $1100 per day and that didn't include provider visits. To put that into perspective, another facility near me billed my insurance ~$2000 for INPATIENT care, which included a bed, 24/7 monitoring, medication administration, and group therapy throughout the day. If you have good insurance and have tried other treatment facilities without much success, I would give this place a shot."
