"The office staff is very polite, however I can’t say the same for Lori Smith LCSW who is completely unprofessional. After my initial interview of Lori Smith, I gave her a chance against my better judgment since she had never taken on a family my size before and had zero experience with a family my size, but she insisted she could handle it. (Which couldn’t be farther from the truth). After repeatedly asking Lori direct questions in person as well as emails along the way, Lori is evasive, misleading and flat out lies, it is very difficult to have put your family’s trust into therapy with someone so unprofessional. Lori became retaliatory even sabotaging my reunification therapy because I had finally gotten to a point and had to tell her “I don’t believe your services are worth what you charge or my time” and there is zero itemization or invoices to keep track of supposed sessions. Lori tried to repeatedly pressure me into paying for additional sessions with a coworker which made me very uncomfortable. Stay clear of this place, I would “NOT” recommend the Cognitive Clinic or Lori Smith at all based on my experience & I only wish I was warned in a customer review so I would have avoided the damage and set back to my family. I hope this review helps someone else avoid the troubles, set backs and damage I have suffered as a result of Lori Smith. There should be a zero stars option."
