Reviews of D V Jahn
"The hospital bed stopped working and I called DV jahn and left messages on 02-01-23, 02-03-23, 02-09-23. Finally on 02-10-23 when I called I got the same voicemail but this time I pushed the prompt for billing and spoke to Korrine at 12:13pm who told me she was working from home. I could clearly hear a baby crying in the background. Korrine told me she did not know why my many message were not returned about my non-working hospital bed. Korrine told me the office is not always staffed but usually return voicemails. Is it not medicare policy that providers have a brick building and normal business hours to service the products they bill medicare for? Afterall it has been over TEN DAYS that DV Jahns hospital bed has not been working and they NEVER called me back."
"I used to work here and everyone of my coworkers were so nice and diligent with their work. I love the work environment!"
"In the transition to hospice, we needed to switch out DV jahn's equipment with a new DME provider. DV Jahn's dispatch system is such that the schedule is set once a day. Once the drivers are sent out for the day, there's no option to add or subtract from a driver's list. When it comes to medical equipment for elderly and dying people, this company demonstrates no compassion, judgment or flexibility. They were unwilling and/or unable to pick up their bed so the hospice could replace it with their bed. For 5 days. Even after I explained that moving my father would be difficult given his rapidly worsening condition. Their suction equipment failed but no one would come out to service or replace it for a full day and evening. Even after I explained that my father needed the suction so he would not choke on his secretions. They are not human centered. They are process drones. They have no place in health care."
"I love this company. I have only had the best service with them, they are precise and my orders are always correct. The staff is wonderful especially Jarron I love this guy, he always makes it happen for me!!!"
"I HAD TO SELECT A STAR IN ORDER TO POST THIS BUT LET ME BE CLEAR, I RATE YOU A ZERO! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! THEY LIKE TO RIP OFF PEOPLE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY!! My mother was receiving in home physical therapy (PT) and the therapist asked my mother, in my presence, if she wants a raised seat for easier toilet use. I asked if the insurance would cover that equipment and the PT said she can find out and let me know. 3 months went by and I never heard anything about this issue again and the PT's service had ended. I honestly forgot all about this elevated chair until all of a sudden, 3 months later, my mom received a voice message from Dv Jahn stating they will be delivering some equipment and to call them back so we can schedule a day that would work. My mother suffers from dementia and so I handle all her medical needs. I heard the message, thought it was telemarketing, as we only deal with one pharmacy for all her medical needs, and so the message was disregarded. A week later, my mother informs me that a commode was delivered and was under the impression that I had ordered it. I review the paperwork and see that it is from DV Jahn. This was the equipment they were referring to in the message they had left. Despite the fact that no one returned their call, they still decided to deliver the equipment. More importantly, no one ordered this equipment, and no one consented to this equipment being ordered or delivered. To conclude, I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Sarah. I explained the situation and told her just as this equipment was delivered, it needs to be picked up because no one ordered this item. We played phone tag, I left her several messages, she did the same. First Sarah said, for sanitary reasons they cannot take it back. Once I reiterated this was FRAUD and we did not order this equipment and I will be reporting them to the insurance company if they didn't take it back, then all of a sudden she said they could take back the equipment but they can't pick it up, we need to drop it off! I was absolutely appalled! The last message I left Sarah was stating that I certainly would not be dropping the equipment off and they can pick it up just as they were able to drop it off. It's pretty ridiculous that each time I called her, I got her voicemail. Not once did I speak to her. All communication was through messages left for each other. Now, fast forward 2 months! Equipment was never picked up and my mom receives a statement of summary from her insurance company. Upon reviewing this information, I see that DV Jahn has billed the insurance company for the fraudulent order of the commode. A few days later, my mother receives an invoice from DV Jahn for a portion that was not covered by the insurance company! I am disputing this transaction that was wrongfully billed and delivered without the consent of my mother or her POA, me! This is FRAUD and the fact that this company carries out business this way is very concerning! If in fact a mistake was made and they were under the impression we ordered this, the moment I contacted them and let them know that was not the case, they should have picked this item up right away! Not a good way to do business, very unprofessional!! I will also be contacting the better business bureau!"
