"Wost building ever the management is very bad they add to people rent and steal from people and they don’t fix anything I been living up here for 2 years and I still don’t have hot water"
"The building is terrible never any hot water and no one is ever in the office. People leave doors properly open to let strangers in. People sleeping on the stairs and other places throughout the building. Not a safe place to live."
"Figurative and literal TRAP! Staff is unprofessional. Maintenance man calls the shots in the background but hides behind property manager. He's been here at least 10 years, so I am surprised about the community and culture here. A lot of throwing rocks and hiding hands. They pull charges out of thin air. Scamming-they can claim you did ANYTHING and the attorneys will believe it. There is no supervisor. The next level is a law office. Constantly in and out of my apartment. Constant water temperature problems. Mold. Laundry facility only takes special debits cards, no coins and is $2/wash or dry which is rather expensive. Work out facility has not one working machine or matching dumbbell. There was a man "sleeping" in the work out facility when I went in one early morning. Community Center is locked or has a person sleeping in it. Bullet shells everywhere on the ground in the courtyard and in the back of the building. Loud parties almost every weekend in the courtyard. Stairs to garage are gross and dangerous so we have to use the ramp everyone is driving on which is absolutely dangerous and ridiculous. No smoking on the patio?!?! Garage is not always secure-my car has been touched many times. Update: Actually, the garage is very secure. There are people watching who’s coming in and out so it’s very confusing as to why my car stays being touched and attempted to be broken into. My realization now is that it’s my neighbor. Or staff. Using the same tool and doing the same moves on any car that I have parked in that spot. Harassed by the men in the building. Women are catty and petty in the building including the seasoned old heads. I’ve been pickpocketed several times by 2 different older women in the building. Package thieves if it’s at your door. Everyone here is extremely scared of dogs and makes owning a dog rough. Cameras are everywhere but only to aid in data collection and not for protection. They retaliate often and will ruin your credit and rental credibility."
"basically scammed me, went through the application process and was approved, day I was supposed to get my keys I find out the previous tenant was not leaving, leasing office repeatedly told me it would be by the end of the month, etc etc etc, told me they'd call me back repeatedly, never did. I get they changed management but the $135 I paid as an application fee to a nonexistent residence still hurts. The girls that work up there are super sweet at least!"
"Lost my home during Hurricane Ida and Amanda and the entire Downtowner staff were so helpful in helping me get settled into my new place. Friendly staff, they answer every email and return every call. The common areas are always clean. Neighbors are really nice and chill. The area has a lot of Dope spots to eat. Overall a great place to live."
