"Dr Rush and his staff such as Rea and Lexie are top at Top of Texas Psychiatry. Having suffered for decades of depression I know that I have reached a true guide to my mental health. The treatments are well placed and monitored correctly. You can tell they take great pride and even a good measure of pleasure out of getting their patients better. I’m truly grateful I was recommended to Top of Texas. I believe as do they as doctor Rush says “life’s to short to be miserable “"

"The reason I give a 5 star plus is in fact # in any psychiatry I rather don’t give a 1 minute or 3 minute visit on doing sessions when coming here i rather have time to do 30 minute sessions than to have a 1 to 3 minute session to visit with them yes they r new but give them time adjust yes dr Hussein was the the doctor that help u with ur metal health Working but James Avery rush is taking over in practice Especially his nurse practitioner that help him I do have a lot of patience and patients that go them I rather give a Thirty minute section than go to a 1 minute to 3 minute session than have nothing at all b just saying that’s they r good just give them patience"

"Having to update my 5 star review to 1. Please be very careful if you're considering being a new patient. I got a call this morning from the receptionist about scheduling. I informed her that I would like to cancel my appointment because I did not want to continue care, I found talk therapy better suited for my case. The receptionist told me "well you will probably have trouble with your PCP wanting to fill you medications". I assured her I shouldn't have any issues, I have had my anti-depressant and ADHD medication it filled by my PCP for 4+ years... She said, "Okay, well good luck with that". 5 minutes later, I get a call from my PCP stating they will no longer fill the same medications they have for 4 years because I have an appointment with Dr. Rush's office's. I tried to explain that I went twice, it did not work out, and I am no longer a patient of Rush's but they stated that they were informed of an appointment. Ultimately, I had to call back to Dr. Rush's office to schedule two additional appointments and have to wait till I get my medication is filled. Now, I get to pay $150+ a month (after insurance) to see this doctor, whom I'm not taking any new medications from. The receptionist refused to stop interrupting me and I eventually just had to hang up because she would not listen. I'm basically trapped into paying them now to receive my medications."
