"This place is horrible! My mother lives there and it is infested with cockroaches and currently my mom has no hot water! HUD and the department of aging will be contacted!"
"I love it here. Lucy is wonderful! No issues and. She is always helpful. I wouldn't live anywhere else!!!"
"I have been here going on 2 years and I love it most of the people here are very nice and the manager ( Lucy) here is nice and fair and she follows the rules and regulations that are require some people don’t like."
"The management is very poor there, they never answer the phone. The manager there Lucy claims she owns the building when that is a lie. Lucy the manageral has issues with abusing the elderly. Lucy has threatened residents there by sticking her finger in their face while threatening to kick them out. Lucy has also made people with physical disabilities sit out side in the hot weather. Lucy claims that certain people are not allowed to sit in the porch or the gazebo. My mother is one of them who has a service dog, Lucy claims that the dog is not allowed on the porch and is not allowed to be outside on a lease for more than 15 minutes. The complex does has a pet policy that requires a pet deposit. Lucy doesnot follow federal laws pertaining to service animals. Lucy has also made comments that she hates elderly people. Lucy has also claimed that it is up to her who can move out of the building, so far she has refused to give paper wok to my mother to allow her to move. This is a abusive environment that should be handled by the authorities."
"I really love living at Marian Heights. The staff is friendly, as are almost all of the neighbors. The rooms are larger than other units in the area. It is pet-friendly. You can get dinner during the week on-site. One-bedroom units each have a walk-in closet. There is a library, beauty shop, two laundry rooms, exercise room and chapel. Heat/AC, sewer, water and trash are included in the rent, which is based on annual income. I cannot think of another rent-controlled apartment complex where I would rather live."
