"This place is horrible to deal with and udderly incompetent. They originally overbooked appointments and had several hours wait for scheduled procedure. Then when scheduling appointments they schedule in a series. If you already had that scheduled treatment and cancel appointment they cancel all future appointments. Then want you to go to appointments that you don't need. Then 6 months later you get a bill saying it is already 120 days past due so please pay before it goes to debt collection agency. I paid bill in full at that point, but then another six months later got a letter from a law agency saying they are still trying to collect debt. I sent my receipt from Bill already paid and have been fighting back and forth. The billing service is just as bad as the health treatments you receive"
"This location used to be great, now horrible. I receive a text message 4 days before appt to make sure that I will be there. I take a day off work go to the clinic, a sign on the door states that they are only open on Tuesdays, today is a Tuesday and its locked up. No answer to my knocking, I call the multiple numbers to reach the call center that they use and the 1st person said they were calling the office to tell them im waiting. I call back again same thing. I recieve a call back from the call center but after I answer the guy said a couple words then either hung up or we were disconnected. Another patient showed up then and we both left. Do not go to this buisness! I can't state that enough. Drs offices like to tell you if you cancel too late that there is a fee, well I took the day off work and I get nothing. I would like to update my horrible experience with this location and company. After giving them another chance since it's the only vein clinic in the area ,I was rewarded with incompetence and ripped off. Starting with my vein ultrasound that was completely misdiagnosed by a tech in training I was scheduled for a procedure. When the Dr tried to find the vein that was supposed to recieve treatment it became apparent to the Dr and another ultrasound tech that their tech misdiagnosed the vein since they could not find it. So the dr gave me a couple small injections to a couple veins on the surface of my leg. I canceled any upcoming appointments since they couldn't be trusted to care for any vein issues I may have. The office then billed my insurance for $32,000 for general surgery. My insurance paid $3,800 for a misdiagnosed problem that didn't exist since there was no procedure performed. Now 40 days after this joke of an appointment and waste of time , they charge my credit card $75.00 for a missed appointment which was canceled immediately after this sham "procedure". Any texts I recieved from this place asking if I was coming to an appointment, I always responded NO. After I respond NO, I would get a followup text asking me to reschedule, which I never did. This place is committing insurance fraud and deceptive practices. This will be followed up with a report of medical fraud to my insurance company. You also can't speak with any from the office on the phone , any calls are routed to an overseas call center which cannot or will not help with any issues. Please avoid this buisness at all costs. I didn't and im paying the price for their incompetence."
"Don’t start treatment here! When I originally started my treatment, it was Vein Clinics of America. Great staff, great doctors. No complaints. However, halfway through my treatments, USA Vein Clinics bought them out. Patients were not made aware of this. I came to my appointment at the Frankfort, Illinois location and the doors were locked. No calls were made to let me know. Following that, the next 5 of my appointments were cancelled either the morning of or a couple of hours beforehand. As a teacher, this was extremely frustrating as I work a 7:30-4:00 job, work 45 minutes from the location, and had to take time of work for some of these appointments. I can’t tell you how many phone calls and complaints I have voiced to their corporate office. They always say they will have someone call me back and it never happens. Finally, I finished up treatment at the Plainfield location because it was fully staffed and had a permanent doctor with many years at that location. Fast forward 8 months and I’m having leg issues again. I’m supposed to have an ultrasound done to check my veins and guess what, I got a call that my appointment would have to be rescheduled because of insufficient staffing - received the call the morning of my appointment. Thankfully, through my questioning, I was able to reschedule it to a time 20 minutes before my originally scheduled appointment. Now I am sitting here reading all of these other reviews and I am very wary of this company. Also, I’ve been getting emails saying I owe money, but when I had the receptionist check my account she says I have a zero balance. Seems like some kind of a scam is happening here. Do NOT start vein treatment here, it has been a nightmare!!!!!"
"This place recently changed ownership and it is now a complete mess. I have been going to Vein Clinics of America for many years and it was always organized and professional. This takeover is a complete disaster. I went to my appointment and I was told it was a two hour wait! Other patients were waiting over an hour. The front desk nurse was completely overwhelmed and frustrated with the company’s customer service who was apparently booking appointments even though they don’t have the staff to handle it. I left immediately and I will not go there any more. DO NOT go here and waste your time! I would give zero stars if possible."
"I previously rated Vein Clinics of America 5 stars over a year ago. The staff was great, there were some times that appointments were cancelled. I understood that it was due to COVID and precautions, and I still thought great service was given. As of August/September and currently, this place has turned for the worst. My appointments have been cancelled three times in a row. I walked in yesterday and sat down, two patients were ahead of me. One patient was yelling and had an attitude about how her treatment has been prolonged and no one called to notify about the cancellation. The poor employees looked frustrated and defeated. The other patient was told that they couldn’t be seen because they only have one ultrasound tech and a doctor. No nurses! Just the three ladies at the front desk. My appointment was also cancelled. Not one phone call like the week prior when they cancelled the other procedure the day before my scheduled visit. I watched from my car when 4 more patients walked in and quickly walked out. I attempted to call and complain to speak to a manager at corporate to no avail. At this point, I’m going to retrieve my medical records and go elsewhere. The company is now called USA vein clinics and they don’t allow the clinics to schedule services. Most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard of, especially when the clinic is running on a skeleton crew! These poor employees are overworked, severely short staffed, and they’re not being listened to by the big wigs!"
