"Despite Dr. Drag's reputation as a skilled physician, my recent experience at their office left me dissatisfied with the staff. My privacy was compromised during my visit when I was verbally interviewed in the waiting area about my health- I was baffled about that. That's a HIPPA validation. I even point it out to the front desk employee. Furthermore, I encountered rudeness while trying to pay my bill, so I left without paying. She was confused, and looking at the computer screen, I wasn't sure if she was still helping me or moving on to a different task. Receiving a bill in the mail is frustrating without prior notification or clarity on the amount; I understand how the insurance copayment works, but if I had been informed initially, I would have chosen to go to Urgent Care and wait for my annual visit to Dr. Drag, which I did emphasize on the phone when I scheduled an appointment. Long story short, I was informed that I was lucky the doctor saw me so fast. What ?!? The lack of competency and information provided only added to my overall dissatisfaction. I have never experienced such poor treatment at a doctor's office. The individual who assisted me displayed a lack of interest and professionalism. Medical staff must prioritize patient care and communication, ensuring patients feel valued and informed. As a patient, I recommend thorough insurance checks before appointments and proactive communication regarding paperwork and procedures with patients. While I do not attribute this experience to all office employees, it is vital for the ones involved to reflect on their attitude. Ultimately, although the office may have profited financially in the short term, they have lost a few loyal patients in the long run. While I typically don't write many reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience to raise awareness. It's concerning that some individuals may exploit similar situations of being overcharged and treated rudely."
