"I had a great experience 4 years ago with Dr Conti and the staff. But September 28 2022 I went for an ultrasound after becoming symptomatic again. There was a new ultrasound tech who said there I had NO REFLUX in any of my veins warranting treatment (>500) The next 2 mos were spent trying to sort out what was causing my swelling. Finally my primary insisted I allow Northwestern complete arterial and venous scans. I had MULTIPLE veins with reflexes (>2,500!) That change didn't "just happen" in the 2.5 months that elapsed before evaluation by the hospital. Illinois Vein Specialists in Barrington confirmed the hospital's findings and treated me to 2 laser and 1 varithina so far. 2-3 more procedure s I wasn't going to post about it. But, now that Pacific vein center is chasing me to pay $55 copay for an inaccurate ultrasound that cost me WAY more than $55 chasing down an alternate cause of my symptoms , delayed treatment,etc...I may as well!!"
