Reviews of Surbhi Panchal, MD
"I know my wrist will never be the same but Dr. Panchel, Kelly (therapist), the receptionist and everyone who had a hand in getting me through the surgery and helping with the healing were awesome!!! It looks better than it did before!! Thank You!!"
"Dr Panchal is very knowledgeable about my arthritic hand pain. She is kind and so nice to talk with. Her appointments are always right on time. Her staff is very pleasant also. I highly recommend her."
"UPDATE- Met with Dr Panchal the other day for a cortisone shot and she explained and made total sense why she would rather me be on an anti-inflammatory med vs the shot. I respect the fact she wanted to try other methods, which are not as aggressive, considering her educating me on why too many cortisone shots isn't a good thing and can actually take the area longer to heal. I tried the med she put me on and I've been having great and similar results to when I had the shot last time. Original post..... Dr. Panchal is wonderful! Great bedside manners, kind, thorough and completely understanding."
"I’m not one to leave a bad review and my treatment involves two parts. Part one: Doc visits: I broke a bone & came to the office alone. I was surprised when I was struggling & in pain to filling out required paperwork & I received no assistance. At each visit, I spent more time seeing the PA’s than the doc. So much so, I thought the attentive PA was my doc. I think the doc spent less than 5 min each time I saw her. & I’m being generous in that estimate. The office took several weeks to send reports to my other doc, then they didn’t send the x-ray with it. I had to wait again. Part 2. My occupational therapist and the Crystal Lake office are awesome! Maddie is very wise, kind, gentle & has a lot of patience.I was very pleased with the guidance and care I received. I’d see them again for sure! I highly recommend their services."
"My husband had an appointment at 1020am today, however he wasn't seen until almost 11 and didn't get to talk to Dr Panchal until almost 12. Dr Panchal rudely said she was "very busy" and didn't bother to apologize for the extensive delay. Madam, not only your time is valuable, your patients "are busy" as well, also have responsibilities to their families and employer. Your patients aren't peons below you because you have the letters M.D next to your name! We also have post grad degrees just like you and important responsibilities, this isn't just you. Your patients deserve the same respect you demand of them, and you completely failed at that. Also my husband did not feel like his concerns and pain problems with his hands (yes BOTH hands) were taken seriously, he wasn't given any doagnosis and was rushed out with an order for physical therapy. What a disappointment, he had such hopes that you would be able to find a way to help with the issue that he has been dealing with over 2 months now and that his primary care M.D didn't have an answer to. Aren't you a specialist? No need to say that we canceled the appointments for therapy at your location and booked elsewhere, where they respect the patients time and aren't over 40 minutes late but also aren't rude and dismissive of their patients pain."
