Reviews of Autism, Behavioral & Educational Services
"If you are looking for a company that will work with you to provide services for your child while also working with the families needs, this is NOT the company for you. I was told we would discuss placement hours and location after the intake meeting which we did but my family was unable to accommodate the location they requested, in clinic. Because we couldn’t do in clinic, they couldn’t give my son ANY hours. No discussion or trying to work with me at all it is just - too bad. You can’t meet our demands so no therapy for your son. Which is totally unfair to the child. This is all supposed to be about the kids and helping THEM, not the provider and meeting their needs and requests. This company has their values upside down! Do not recommend! UPDATe: here is my response to their garbage response below: Autism, Behavioral & Educational Services Inc. first of all, this number of therapy hours “required” were determined by YOU so “required” is not the right word there, try recommended - that’s more accurate! You are the ONLY ABA company to ever recommend 40 hours for my child and that I remove him from school to send him to your clinic! Do you really think you are helping kids by refusing to help them! You put on a good front during our initial conversations but the bottom line of your operation is garbage! It is DEFINITELY NOT THE KIDS! Here is what I know: you wanted me to take him out of his behavioral school that he’s been with for years to send him to your clinic 40 hours per week and when I refused to do that (advising that we could only do half days = 24 hours per week and Saturdays if you could (which of course you are unable to do weekends)) you told me sorry we can’t help you. So if you don’t get your way and the hours YOU and you alone decide MY child needs then he isn’t worthy of any of your time! Definitely seems like your priority is that insurance payment NOT my child needs! You should have told me from the beginning that your recommendation was the ONLY one that mattered and my families need would not be a factor! I have worked with several ABA therapy companies over the years and ALL of them work with their families, except you! I refused to take my child out of his behavioral school that we fought long and hard to get him into, to send him to you (complete strangers that I know nothing about) and because of that you would provide him zero therapy. It’s sad! Also, shame on you!! comparing Autism to cancer - trying to make me feel bad about my child’s needs and the decisions I made for him! I am more positive than ever that I made the correct choice for my child! I will say this in response to your cancer nonsense, do you think if a cancer patient couldn’t make every single appointment that the provider would say “sorry ZERO chemotherapy for you!” No they wouldn’t! That was a sad attempt from you to deter your lack of integrity! How ridiculous!! I will ensure my baby gets the services he needs from other providers, providers that have their ethics and integrity in the right order! Please feel free to take this conversation off FB and call me! I’d loooooove the opportunity to tell you how I really feel! Your attempt here to save face hasn’t worked! You’ve only proven yourselves to be a total disappointment and complete waste of time! I hope prospective families get to see this experience of ours and take heed when dealing with ABES. There are other reviews online similar to my experience! I wish I had done more research prior to wasting my time with these people! STILL DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!"
"They do so much to help kids in need!"
"Our grandson has attended ABA for 4years now and we have been very happy! The staff has always gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the best possible decisions were made for him. This will enable our grandson to have the best future possible. For example; our grandson is able participate in So many extracurricular activities in the community. We are now able to go out and about in public settings with little to no issues. So very grateful!!! Thank you so much for helping my grandchild."
"The staff at the ABA is awesome. They are always nice and pay full attention to my child’s needs. This was the best decision to enroll my kiddo into ABA behavior. From therapy to communication everything I am satisfied. My kid's therapist frequently communicates how my kiddo is doing and are we meeting the required goals for him. Very Flexible in changing the schedule from home ABA to Clinic ABA to meet the needs of my Son. I called them my magic wand. When My child started at ABA at the age of 3 (2018) he was non-verbal and wearing diapers. Now he is able to talk and fully potty trained and goes to school. At my son’s IEP meetings I have the most incredible ABA Staff to support me in my son's education, I will say no more and let you know that I will definitely recommend it to whoever is looking for ABA therapy"
"I came to them hoping that my son would get ABA therapy service with them. I have been on wait list with other places. This place assured me that my son would get into a program. After they evaluated my son, they determined he need 40 hours a week of ABA. My son never ever need 40 hours of ABA a WEEK. He has had ABA from other clinics in past and the most he needed was 10 hours a week. SO they couldn't provide this service so they turn down my son for therapy. We have great insurance that would cover all cost and yet they felt my son needed 2-1 therapy and they are under staff so they can't take on my son. My son has been evaluated by other clinics and never has anyone said he need 2-1 therapy. Not sure how they evaluate kids or if it's even accurate. I would recommend you find another clinic besides this place. So disappointing they are!"
