"I wanted a female doctor instead I had a male doctor. Would not even let me talk. I have menopause with severe hot flashes instead he was more worried about my weight & my high blood pressure which my menopause is causing that problem for me. I watch what I eat do to having menopause it is very hard for me to lose the weight. I eat a lot of fish & chicken. I don't snack or eat any junk food. All he told me is to eat only 3 meals a day. Which I do! And walk 10 miles a day. I have a caregiving job that I am on my feet all day long & when I get home. I eat & do some house work & go to bed. I don't have time to watch television or snack. I now have to find another doctor that is a woman doctor. I don't want a male doctor at all! The doctor that see was in a hurry to look at me & prescribed 2 medications. I feel he was not the doctor for me. I want a doctor that will listen to what I have to say!"
"I called the Oswego location to make an appointment. After informing me that they do not take "new clients" on Saturdays (reasonable, I suppose), we made an appointment for a little under two weeks later. My fiance, whom the appointment was for, began having stomach pains several days later--they were not severe enough to merit a visit to the ER, but we were awaiting the appointment anxiously. This morning I called, again the Oswego office, to verify the time of the appointment. Everything appeared to be in order. En route, I called again to clarify the directions I had, and was told by the receptionist that the appointment was for the Plano location. I did not even know there was a Plano location. The number I called both times was the number listed under the Oswego location, which was provided by my insurance company. I was not told the appointment was for the Plano location either time I called--when I was making it, or when I was calling to verify the time. Based on my fiance's work schedule, there is no way we could reschedule for a time during the day, and because the doctor was apparently unable to stay late for the next two weeks, and we were very concerned about his stomach pain, I asked if we could schedule for a Saturday. She told me no. She would not work with me at all. They don't take Saturday appointments for new clients, she repeated, even though they were the ones who screwed up our appointment. I will absolutely find another office. Wouldn't you assume that when someone makes a mistake, they would try to make up for? We wasted two weeks waiting for this appointment, and the receptionist didn't even apologize, and wouldn't accept responsibility or even offer us a Saturday appointment for our trouble. Don't give this establishment your business. If they can't even properly schedule you, how can you trust them with medical records? How can you trust a doctor to examine you when they hire people who apparently can't tell Plano from Oswego--even when you are calling the Oswego location! They certainly weren't concerned with my fiance's health, or the inconvenience and additional headache and worry they are causing us. Now we have to find a new office, and hope they can see him promptly, and with more professionalism than this office has shown."
