Advocate Clinic at Walgreens

"If I could leave a zero star review. Made the appointment last night got here on time checked in and then 15 minutes after my appointment should have been held they call me on my phone not come out and talk to me to tell me they can't help me."

"I went in for a rash on my side. I was told it was “probably from moisture” and was advised to use calamine lotion & was sent home. I saw my PCP today (3 days later) because it has worsened. 5 seconds into my exam I was told it’s SHINGLES. My PCP said I missed the early treatment window as it’s now spread further across my back. I could have prevented the extended discomfort if the physician here at Walgreens knew what shingles looked like. I will not be returning."

"PCP couldnt get us in so my husband went in for possible sinus infection or ear infection and was sent away with over the counter meds. Had to go to the ER the following morning for ruptured eardrum due to an ear infection that was obviously overlooked and untreated. Has to follow up with ENT now too. Would not recommend."

"Extremely disappointed with the nurse practitioner Jennifer Florentino. I made an appointment for my daughter at 6:45 p.m and we rushed to get there from her cheer practice and arrived by 6:51 p.m. at this point she conveniently closed the door and shut off the lights as she heard us. We explained to her that we rushed from her practice and pleaded with her to please give her the shot. The appointment was just for a flu shot which takes no more than a few minutes. She refused and blatantly lied about the policies. She told us that we had to arrive 15 minutes early and that the computer automatically cancels the appointment after a patient is a few minutes late. I work in the medical field myself and I know that this is not true. And I know for a fact that if you’re scheduled to work to a certain time you don’t get to leave earlier than the time you’re supposed to leave as she did today. Her attitude as she walked away from us was completely unprofessional."

"I would give this "clinic" no stars. We came in and were told by the Nurse Practitioner to sign in on the computer so we did. The Nurse was sitting in an office playing on her phone. A Medical Office Assistant called us in to get vitals. My husband was having eye pain. WE had put that on our registration. We then told the assistant. He left the room and came back and said, "You need to go to Urgent Care". MY husband was very upset that we were just being dismissed. No one looked at his eye. The Nurse Practitioner did not do any assessment, how could she know what he needed. We walked out and the Nurse's office door was now closed. She was not with another patient because there was no one else there. Clearly she was hiding from us because she did not want to do her job. We got no explanation. WE got no information on Urgent Care Centers in the area. So in 12 degree weather we left and went home. We will never ever use that clinic for anything. Not even Flu shots."
