"I currently live in Camden 2c. I've been here about 4 years. I recently had some questions regarding a lease renewal. I have been waiting 4 weeks for a call back. I have actively called and made a visit to the office. I do acknowledge this we're in a pandemic or end of. But, 4 weeks is unacceptable. I'm so disappointed in Camden."

"Do not live here if you don't want to risk living with secondhand smoke. Also, please note the only 5 star review of this place is from the property manager... (This bumped up the rating from 1.8 stars to 2.4) This is the only complex that I know of in the area that allows smoking in the apartments themselves. I was a resident for a year and a half when they moved a heavy smoker into the apartment below mine. Immediately I had issues with smoke in my apartment. I could not sleep in my own bed on some nights because I would wake up with a headache. Management was "nice" and let me out of my lease, but it took almost 2 months, a lot of stress, and many phone calls to get any action from them. I had issues ever since the management changed actually (which they also did not communicate well). In the months prior to this I had waited over 6 months to get a fire alarm replaced, I finally had this done when I threatened to withhold my rent payment (this is their responsibility, they came and changed the batteries once, did not let me know they entered the apartment, and ignored my explanation that it's not the batteries, it's the unit itself that needs replaced). I am living in a very similar unit in Peoria now. Not only is it cheaper, I've had maintenance orders taken care of in the same day. At Camden Court/Camden Hills the units themselves are nice since they are new. They are "pet friendly" though they didn't really think about that when installing the carpet. The pet friendly unit I have now has a protective pad under the carpet for accidents so you can actually clean it and the smell doesn't soak through the pad and linger... I spent a couple hundred dollars attempting to clean my carpet to learn that the pad itself needed to be replaced. If you are ok with risking living with secondhand smoke and don't have any allergies to it then this might be ok for you, otherwise I would strongly encourage looking somewhere else."

"My company put me in these apartments and I could not have been happier. The dog run was awesome for my dogs and also the garage was a plus. The people were so nice and if I needed anything it was very prompt. The only complaint was I wish the washer and dryer were a bit bigger but then again I was very lucky to have them. If I didn’t just close on a house I would definently have extended my stay here."

"Do not live on the main floor. Everyone above you can hear. Footsteps ,conversation and when you hear the toilet flush. It will wake you from a dead sleep. The washing machines are just as loud. Drives me nuts. Renter beware."
