"My son has been going to Kim's school of TKD since he was 6 (he's 10 now), and he loves it here. There are kids of all ages as well as grown ups that have made Kim's an integral part of their life. The instructors, including the principal Master Kim, are all highly accomplished practitioners of the art. They exude the values of Tae Kwon Do - including courtesy, integrity, and self-control, and pass these on the students in every class. They are kind and patient with the little ones, and there is a culture of mutual respect and community that makes this place a pleasure to be in for people of any age. My son loves the fun and nurturing environment the school provides, and we love their reinforcement of positive discipline and respect for others. Other schools seem much more focused on competitiveness and power rather than all-round development, and can be intimidating to little kids. We feel very fortunate to have access to a resource like Kim's for our son. I wrote this review originally 2 years ago, and we are still part of the Kim's school "family". In fact, I followed in my son's footsteps by joining the school as a student myself about a year ago, in my late 40s. We still feel extremely fortunate to have access to Kim's, especially in these surreal times. The pandemic has forced us to change the way we live and how we conduct nearly every aspect of our daily lives. Kim's school has adapted wonderfully to the new "reality" by continuing instruction over zoom video calls. The classes have worked remarkably well and I have learned several new techniques during the pandemic. The school has also started slowly transitioning to in person classes for students that wish to explore that option. They continue to be incredibly kind, understanding and respectful to their students and their families."

"Outstanding martial arts school with very passionate, yet reasonable instructors and a commitment to excellence. I started my martial arts journey with taekwondo and hapkido at another school several years ago. I also tried judo, wing chun, and decided to return to taekwondo about a year ago. At Kim's tkd, you can quickly tell that each instructor genuinely cares about the progress that their students make. I get the distinct feeling, each class, that the instructor took the time to prepare thoughtful workouts/drills that will stretch the students in different ways. The instructors are also very receptive to questions and offer private lessons. Good mix of young kids, teenagers, and several adults who compete regularly in forms and sparring (my personal favorite). Highly recommended!!"

"I am a proud student of Kim's School of Tae Kwon Do for nearly 2 yrs. Master Kim is one of the most genuine and kindest people I have ever met. Her knowledge of Tae Kwon Do goes beyond measure, but her attitude and persistence in her teachings and encouragement is second to none. Although, I consider myself a well-rounded athlete, I have never been pushed both mentally and physically as much as I have here. What I love most about the school is that each instructor has learned under Master Kim and developed his or her own unique way of leading a class. The school not only challenges me physically and mentally, but it is fulfilling in a cultural, social, and therapeutic way. I highly recommend this school to any ages and all levels!"
