"Dr. Thompson is a pretty good dr. except for the baby talk voice with my teenager.--But when my daughter had a sore throat, redness, I saw the np. She wouldn't do a 24 hour strep and when I questioned her about other possible things considering the whole of my child's symptoms, she told me it is rare and acted like I was making all my child's symptoms up. I have changed to another pediatrician who is now treating her for gut strep and h pylori. FYI dr's office. strep can live in other places besides the throat. Listening and hearing are necessary skills for medical professionals. There are other pediatricians who will do so. And LISTENING, HEARING, and BELIEVING --and RESEARCHING are integral parts of a medical practice."

"Our family has seen Dr. Thompson for several years and she is fantastic, with both my son and daughter, who have very different little personalities. She is prompt, compassionate, caring and objective. She does a great job not only evaluating our children's needs, but also helping my husband and I make good decisions for them - she is a bit of a parent psychologist too! She is not a proponent of superfluous treatment, but when she observes a need she is quick to respond...with excellent bedside manner for the whole family. My children love her, which is huge, since kids tend to have more precise people meters than adults. We love her!"
